Hey Jordan, next time I see you you think you could help me with my Hakan? Iām also seconding him but itās an uphill struggle because Iāve never used grapplers seriously in 2D fighters. Youāre better than me so I figure maybe youāll have some wisdom to impart.
Interesting tier list earlier. I have to say though I think theyāre putting Bison a bit high. Heās definitely better this time, but I still think his mediocre anti-air options prevent him from being top 5 material. But what do I know? I suck anyway. XD
Either way, there is no way the Guile match-up is anything lower than 7-3 in Guileās favor. The match is just as bad if not worse than it was in vanilla as far as Iām concerned.
Iām taking that tier list with a grain of salt.
I can try to help out; my Hakan is definitely not solid yet. I mistime a lot of stuff. I really need to fight a whole variety of characters so I know the match-ups. For both my Fuerte and Hakan. :wonder:
I donāt think i can agree with that listā¦ Abel doesnāt have a bad match up against Gief or T Hawkā¦ Iād say heās gotten the advantage instead.

Iāve been talking with Crackfiend and Champ and they didnāt know about Abels normal throw beating out even ultras. They also knew nothing about Cammy or Fei Long in a lot of matchups. So thereās a lot left out but expect them to be changed

I think HAWK and Gief are bad matchups for Abel. Big reason why is because Abel usually needs to get in to do damage. f+mk, Tornad Throws, c.lkās, whateverā¦By doing that Gief and HAWK can just 360 slam his ass. In this matchup Abel is forced to run-away and try to outpoke Gief (like every other character). Its just that Abelās pokes arenāt that great.
They seem to be amazing vs Guile >.<
Also, GGās James. I woulda strung a win or two together if I didnāt have my all knowledgeable brother telling me how bad I was and how easy it is to block ambiguous cross ups.

Hey wassup guys? Once again I got another ?, do you guyās know if a TE stick would work with Tekken 6,BlazBlue,and MvC2? Iām looking to save money but if itās better off buying a stick for each game because of certian button layout I understand.
Yeah, Gief and Hawk do quite well against Abel. Their pokes are better and their 360 dominate his inside game. The only major thing thatās different is his new Ultra. Against Gief, itās quite good as he doesnāt really have a great way to get out of it at the right range. However, Hawk has the dive, which breaks armor and alters his trajectory, so all he needs to do is jump forward and dive and he gets out of jail for free.
Still, the whole tier list should be taken with a grain of salt. Nothing is set in stone yet, although I do fully agree with Blanka being T Hawkās toughest matchup. That shit is tough.
Any sort of stick would work equally well with any fighting game. You can always alter the button layout to whatever you want it to be. Youād just need one stick to play everything.
I laughed when I happened to see some replays of this stuff going on. Abel TT beating ANY 360/EX/Ultra grab goes over my beliefs. :amazed:
Of course, grapplers can always jump punishā¦
P.s. Yeah the lists should be taken with a grain of salt but at least appreciate what top level players are doing for you. I wanna see the work youāre putting into multiple characters and matchups. These guys should be spending more time preparing for Evo but instead they are toying with things for the community.
