This game looks kinda boring. The animation is good in places, but the sprites are so bland (even if they are crisp) some better shading would have been nice.
I also feel that while the animations are smooth, they’re just not strong enough.

The best damage i can find with Yuri is doing:
Anything into 2C 5V 5B j.BC until time runs out.
2C into 214V also works.
But yeah, she feels a bit weak, but im having fun.
You can also do 5B j.BC against air opponents if they have enough gravity. So do something like 5ABC 214B 5BC 236V 5B j.BC 5B j.BC 5B j.BC etc until they fall out. Does good damage.
For not in corners, on the ground, 5B connects into j.BC which connects back into 5B, which connects into j.BC. I got 16 hits in the corner at most, they get pushed away.
This worked on virginia, testing on more char.

New non corner B&B is:
5B j.BC loop until about 9-10 hits. Then do 5B 2C 5V. If the 2C hits anywhere after 12 hits (on folo, less on heavier characters, shoot for 9 against Silvio), then the 5V will miss. Afterwards, do 5B j.BC until time runs out. I got 6K (against Yuri, so around 4.5K against Smiley, and 5K against Otto) for no meter by doing 5AB j.BC 5B j.BC 5B j.BC 5B 2C 5V 5B j.BC x5. You can prolly end in the 236V super for like, 500 more damage. Against heavier characters, remove the last j.5BC rep and it should be about the same…
That should be good for now. I’m enjoying this…

Thats pretty much all I have to say about this game.
I give in, I’ll be installing this game in a little bit to see what the hype and anti-hype is all about.
But, first… Heading to Best Buy to buy more shitty games! (SC4 for 10 bucks)

They should really finish games before they put them out to the public.
Your definition of fun seems pretty limited.
Exploring a system for combos/exploits can be more fun than fighting a lame cpu opponent imo.
Gave the game a go…I can’t help but feel the controls are really tight, meaning that sometimes that QCF motion you want to pelt your opponent with isn’t going to come out. Oh and yeah, as said a few pages back tapping Space gives you clsn.
Ultimately I couldn’t recommend this game to anyone in sound mind. However I will say that even with that Folo’s a blast: she looks nice, her attacks are quirky, and she’s strong enough to go toe to toe with a lot of the cast members, so I might keep the game around as a guilty pleasure for her alone. Other people will probably end up the same way given the cast does have some other hits amongst the misses.
Best bet for MKV? Mugen, probably. Just expect the majority of the releases to suck and only see 2-3 ones balanced with the good stuff.
