Where else do you find smash competition…
Um yeah, I just found out that apparently Diddy Kong may quite possibly have an even match against MK in Final Destination. Can anyone clarify this, and will it have an impact on the tourney scene?
MKs ban Final Destination.
MKs continue to win tournaments.
at a college with 40000 ppl, and meeting up with friends at other colleges nearby.
His bananas only make it harder for MK to approach. I still think it’s still in MK’s favor by a little bit.
Honestly, I would trust these sources of competition alot less, but what do I know?
AiB has some very good players (Ally, DannyKat have both won national level live tournaments), and most colleges have a small pocket of high level competitors.
If you’re going on the concept of perfect guarding on reaction, then a vast majority of the moves in the game can’t be perfect guarded. I’m not saying meta isn’t one of the best characters in the game, but “basically unbeatable” like the likes of ST akuma or (kinda)T4 Jin he is not.
I think it’s just very easy for metaknight to keep most other characters in his optimum range and he has very fast (and situationally safe) options to stuff random bull shit from characters, aka an offense based top tier.
It’s apparently been decided by the SBR (i.e. the group that decides everything in Smash) that MK will NOT be banned. Not that I care anymore. I mean, seriously, people are banning/not banning him anyways depending on where you go.
EDIT: If anyone wants to close this thread now and remove it from existence, they are more than welcome to.

Damn just like that huh? I’m still going to be playing this game regardless. I just haven’t had much time to really get down and get into it again with school but I’m gonna be be playing some over winter break again.
It’s not just MK that annoys me. I don’t like the game speed, I hate the new airdodge, I hate the random nerfing a buffing of previous characters, I hate how everything has to be a mind game, I hate the new items, I hate most of the new stages.
I gave brawl a chance. I did.
I just…don’t care anymore. The tournaments I’ve attended have gotten so boring. This game isn’t even as good as the previous entries during item match/kickback sessions.
MK being so damn broken is just the icing on the cake.
Seriously, if smash were soul calibur, brawl would be soul calibur 3.
Might as well remove the Brawl section while we’re at it. I’m pretty much done with this game competitively anyway. We’ll time to play some GG.

To SRK: I love you guys when it comes to SF and CvS info, but seriously, this place has almost as many idiots on its Brawl boards as SWF does. It’s like almost every person here is a mini-Dylan Tnga.

QFE…this post wins since it basically rephrases what I stated about this piece ov shit game when it FIRST came out…and with that said fuck Brawl, I’d rather be playing Melee as far as worse case scenarios are concerned.

If you were the one that brought up the whole slight invincibility on his forward b and I shot you down then I’m gonna man up and admit that I was wrong. I had gotten tagged so many times out of it that I thought it was just high priority and nothing else but Ski actually told me a situation and I tried it out and lo and behold it works.
however in terms of what I’ve EVER done with Sonic. I’m one of only people on this site that bothers to main him regardless of his low standing and at least proving to somewhat of a degree that he has fighting chance. I haven’t been to any tournaments which I regret but I apologize for having Life take me over ya know? Perhaps I should drop my job and all the animation projects I’m doing for a rough and rowdy time of brawl!
