Eh, last time I checked, that’s what the matchup chart indicated. Of course, that was over 6 months ago, so, things probably changed.

What the hell are you talking about? That matchup is 70:30 metaknight. 70 fucking 30. There is nothing TL can do vs. a good meta knight. It’s a rape fest.
Orochi, one thing you have to learn, is that the majority of a competitive scene is most likely going to differ in opinion than you, not going to tournaments, and simply playing with your shitty friends.
The only thing TL has that can stop the tornado that isn’t bombs is zair and that is HARD. TL trying to attack MK while he’s in shield gets him upb’d or tornado.TL also HAS to arrow cancel ALL THE TIME to keep MK out of his face. He can not fight MK hit for hit, so he has to run.
But…he can’t run. trying to use any projectile that isn’t a canceled arrow gets you beaten up usually. And that’s really the only logical way to keep MK out of TLs face.
As if that’s not bad enough, TL CAN NOT gimp MK. He can’t even approach an airborne MK. Trying to gimp MK gets TL killed. For free.
So no, vs, MK, TL is an asshole and MK is Shane Diesel. It’s every bit as one sided as how marth rapes yoshi.

MK is faster on the ground, a faster attacker with more range, has good pokes. I mean TL doesn’t even HAVE pokes. He has normal moves, but he doesn’t have safe fast normals with good priority.
Anyway MK also has a better recovery and better edgeugarding.
TL has projectiles.

well I was telling ppl what smash boards questionable data says shrugs, personally I think, he has a fair amount of slightly bad matchups but on the other hand he has very few matchups he wins flat out.
here are my “pro” tips against MK.
stay on the offensive(don’t be afraid).
LISTEN for his up B ( don’t get shuttle looped all day).
his weakness is right below and above him, just watchout for his up air juggle but still you can beat that shit.
DON’T DIE, if you don’t die you will continue to live. (MK only has a few killing moves just avoid those and you can easily live to 160-200%, if you can live that long you basically win the match.
You can punish anything in smash as long as you predict it, don’t think that MK has no weakness.
The most recent matchup chart indicates that MK has all good matchups. Do I agree with all of it? Not entirely, but this may be a slight reason as to why there are so…many…MKs roaming around as of late (and the number is only getting larger).
Then again, there’s a 400+ page thread there about discussing the potential banning of MK. Take that as you wish.

If you’re playing sonic, chances are “everything” will be limited to playing mind games and trying to run the clock out.
I think alot of people that are making the arguement are in fact overrating MK. He’s no ban material at all.
But I also think alot of you are under-rating him. He makes a large portion of the cast unplayble. He’s broke shit. Everyone needs to accept that, but everyone also needs to accept that he’s not SNK boss material.

Snake has more weaknesses. If you disagree you haven’t played enough. More characters have better matchups agianst snake than MK and snake vs. MK is largely considered to be even.
This may suprise you, but it’s becoming a logical arguement that GANON has the advantage agaisnt snake.
Now, before you go “WTF NO WAYZ GANON SUCKS!1!”" check this out:
Ganon’s f-tilt stops motar sliding. (in other words, trying to motar slide into ganon will most likely get you killed) F-tilt also trades with snakes f-tilt. If ganon can get around Nikita missles (which isn’t as hard as most people think) he doesn’t have to worry about getting out prioritized up close.
That and ganon gimps snake for free. Characters with slow recoery DIE vs. ganon and snake and gets daired throuh the cypher by ganon. If snake uses hisa up-b where ganon’s jumps can reach him, he’s fish food. After you take one stock off snake, run to the edge and threaten to ganoncide.
Snake is just not as dumb as MK. As dumb as snake is.

MK is easier to win with that’s for sure but a good snake player is much more of a threat then a good mk player.
You can say ganon beats snake but it’s not valid till you have proof. To say snake vs mk is even means you probably don’t play that often because I’d like to see who all these people are that say it’s an even matchup. Alot of good players here in ny all agree snake has a tremendous advantage against mk and it’s a proven fact because he has to work a lot harder for the ko then snake does that much should be obvious.
Of course ganon has always been underrated.
