you have a good theory but i doubt that bison is Q. Story line wise bison is dead and may not return. He is a popular character so he has a slight chance of appearing in sf4.
Thanks, but maybe Akuma/Gouki assumed he destroyed both body and soul but somehow his soul was able to survive and found its way into the body that is now Q.Just look at how pwerful Q is,and how much of a mystery. Also the fact that he was originally meant only as a boss character and he is still a mini boss in the game.I don’t know if it could be possible or not,but capcom must have something up their sleeves for Q.Oh ,by the way, Q is one badass mofo!
Yeah, two times did I question did you pay attention to SF3, and what a suprise, TWO times you went back on what you said, first about Alex, now about Chun Li, and you flat out said “Chun Li isnt a mother” how could anyone think anything other then that you think “Chun Li isnt a mother” and if you knew she was then why did you say she wasnt?
Of course there isnt a complete “All About SF” book, I had just said in my earlier post they were considering doing a AASF book and that it was a tenative title
The Shun Goku Satsu isnt exactly something that messes up, either it hits the opponet and kills them (Goutetsu, Gouken, Bison, Gill) or the opponent knows how to not be killed from it (Gen) or the attacker dies from it (hasnt happend as of yet, but is explained it could)
According to Capcom Bison was killed by the SGS and his soul (and Rose’s) was sent to hell (cause your soul isnt sent to hell regardless if you’re good or not, when it comes to the SGS)
Oh and apparently Q is a a goverment agent. Some people say Q is a man (for obvious reasons) with blonde/light hair, as there is an artwork where the back of Q’s head is shown and exposed hair is shown (I believe the pic is in the SF Eternal Challenge book) and some people say Q is the female agent seen in Q’s ending (I forget exactly why though. There is a reason behind the theory of course)
I couldve found out more about Q if I had asked when I was at Capcom, however Ive never liked Q so I didnt, sorry if either of those things upsets you Q fans.
Its good and bad really. Bad that they dont show it, but good that they actually bother to explain it (if All About SF comes out) cause they could just leave you forever hanging. Although they were considering having AASF have exclusive comic/manga style artwork (as well as regular exclusive artwork) that will show/explain stuff in visual form, so we arent at a total loss here.
Ive noticed New Capcom (what I refer to as Capcom from 2000 onward, due to staff changes, and the new direction the company took) actually cares about stuff (their games and what not) however they dont seem to care about what Classic Capcom (19??-1999) ever did, only stuff the company is currently involved in.
I didn’t go back on what I said about either of them. Learn how to read.
Re-read my posts that I quoted you, and sano. Both times I said that Alex’s story is OVER, and I still stand by that. Both times I gave an explanation to why Alex’s story is over, and neither of you responded back about it. You have yet to say anything on Alex’s storyline to counteract my arguements.
Re-read my posts on page 4 on Alex.
As for Chun Li being a mother, when you ask anyone on the street, anyone on the boards, when you say “mother” you mean as in someone who actually bore a child. Chun Li did not bear a child. If what you say about adopting is considered being a “mother” is correct, then yes, you are right. But when most regular people talk about adoption, they are called “legal guardians” or “guardians” not “mothers”.
I have Been reading this for a few days now, and I wanted to see what u guys thought o’ my input.
If they could make or will make one they should.
Mel learns father’s style of fighting and travels fighting the veteran SF fighters Sakura, Honda, Guile, and etc. Afterwards, there is urgent news to all those involved with the last time Bison was seen that he has returned to finish what he started some years ago. So yada yada yada Ryu, Ken, and the other SFs try to defeat Bison once again but it has seemed that his psycho power has now risen to unprecedented levels. Ryu and Ken now reunited our having troubles defeating him. (Kind of like homeboy’s post except different in my mind.) :wgrin: Mel watches helplessly as Bison upholds and boasts about his revenge so Mel attacks Bison while they are temporarily out of commission. Bison counters with his teleportation, and blasts him with a psycho ball. Ken is enraged, and hits him with one of his patented fiery shoryukens. Sends Bison flying packing loads of pain. Ken: “And that’s only the tip of the iceberg if you don’t leave him out of this.” “Mel, what were you thinking???” “Leave this to me and Ryu, OK!, we are fine!!” But they are badly hurt, and it looks bleak for them, and Bison begins to show no injuries whatsoever. Then he gives them the same big grin we’ve been knowing for all these years. Battle continues Ryu seems to be a little more relentless as it goes on, and yada yada yada as it is about to climax Ryu shows signs of the Dark Hadou. Bison is surprised to see this, and wonders what is this strange energy coming from him. But Ryu resists it, and begins to prepare for the denjin (Light) hadouken as a retaliation against his anger. Bison rushes at Ryu to stop him, but Ken comes out of nowhere with a new technique he just developed I don’t know what to call it maybe one of you could fill in the blank. This does tons of damage to Bison as the fire surrounds his body it burns away some of his red uniform, and his cape. Afterwards, Bison removes his cap, and strokes his now longer hair. I have a personal Bison that has a short ponytail but the same type of hair. I know it sounds crazy but that’s my idea of a new Bison so bare with me. Bison gives them an honorable compliment, and says he will remember them when they die at his hands. With that he sets up for the Mega Psycho Crusher. As he is about to destroy them, Ryu throws the Denjin Hadoken. Bison feels the raw power of it, and then suddenly there is silence. Then once again Bison rises from the ashes with just enough energy to defeat them. But is interrupted by Mel for the final time as he applies his father’s greatest technique  the Shippu Jinrai Kyaku. I will continue it later. Well what do u think so far… :nunchuck:
enyg good so far but it sounds too SF2-centric. I invision SF4 to have two separate centers of focus. Akuma and “The new Evil”(Bison/somebody else).
(in-game and out-of-game characters)
Akuma part-
Ryu(in), Ken(in but for other reasons), Akuma(in), Sagat(in), Mel(in), Sakura(out), Oro(out), some new ppl maybe:
Oro teaches Ryu everything he knows so his skills can live on after his death. During training Ryu tells Oro about Akuma and Oro goes long into thought and decides to teach Ryu his ultimate technique(something big). Before Ryu’s training is done, Akuma senses and tracks down Ryu and Oro and he attacks Oro late at night while Ryu is sleeping. Oro has become very weak over the years training Ryu and is having trouble with Akuma. Akuma attempts the SGS on him but Oro knows hows to evade it by emptying his soul like Gen but his elderly fatigue slightly hinders him. Because of this, Oro’s soul was not completely emptied and the SGS catches Oro partially. The SGS does not instantly kill him but it fatally wounds him, with only minutes of life left. The energy and sound released by the SGS wakes Ryu and he rushes to the scene. Oro struggles to tell Ryu to escape so he can finish his training but ryu wants to stay and fight. Akuma realizes the situation and tells Ryu he awaits his full potential then escapes via Ashura Warp. Oro tells Ryu something meaningfull then dies. Ryu becomes grim and feels responsible for Oro’s death. Ryu countinues training and street fighting viciously(SNH is not present). While Ryu is running the gamut of fighters on his route through southeast Asia, Sagat discovers him beating down a thug that was harrassing a poor family. Sagat greets him and Ryu almost instantly asks for a fight. Sagat sees something different with Ryu but he agrees to fight. Ryu is not well focused as he is sticking with strong and slow attacks, an inner anger is driving his part of the fight and Sagat sees this. Sagat with with his size is easily dancing around Ryu, Sagat sees an opening and punches Ryu in the stomach which makes him reel back. Sagat jumps in to knock him out with a roundhouse but dodges to the side as Ryu goes up with a SNH-charged shoryuken. Sagat lands on his feet to the side of Ryu and watches as he lands from the shoryuken. Sagat remains silent with a “you are better than this” look on his face. Ryu looks at Sagat and collapses to the ground with a look of shame on his face. (continued on next post)
Sagat inquires as to what has gotten to Ryu. Ryu tells Sagat of Akuma and the death of his masters. Sagat recalls that Akuma once killed Bison(Sagat was there right?). Sagat lectures Ryu and tells him(again?) that one cannot fight with hate as their only drive. Ryu refocuses himself with and Sagat’s help and they both train/spar with each other for a few weeks. Ryu gets word from Ken that the World Warrior Tournament 4 has been annouced and asks Sagat if he will join. Sagat agrees with the hope of finally having a meaningful fight with Ryu and to support him in his battle against Akuma who is understood to be lurking the tournament as usual. Ken enters the tournament to beat his son Mel who has entered against Ken’s wishes. Sakura decides not to join but support Ryu from the sidelines.
In an isolated area during the tournament, Sagat and Ryu have their fight. A focused Ryu manages to defeat Sagat and he accepts the loss contently. As they leave the field Akuma arrives and challenges Ryu. Ryu accepts and they do battle. Ryu becomes fatigued due to just finishing his battle with Sagat and Akuma gains then upper-hand and knocks Ryu down. Akuma insults Ryu and tells him to show his full potential or he will kill this girl(Akuma then points behind him). Ryu failed to realize that Sakura had been standing in the distance, nearly in tears. Akuma turns around and fires a Messatsu-Gohadou at a paralyzed Sakura. Ryu gasps in panic as the blast travels its course. Sagat steps in front of Sakura and puts all of his remaining strength into a Tiger Cannon to cancel out the hadou. The blast dies down and Sagat becomes weak and faint. Akuma grimaces while looking at Sagat and asks Ryu how many of his friends must die as he charges for a SGS. Ryu gets up with new vigor and tells Akuma to face him. Ryu lands the first hit of Shin-Shoryuken on Akuma but he manages to escape the next hit by warping backwards. Ryu levitates some objects toward Akuma and he bats them away with the back of his hands. As Akuma is focused on the objects, Ryu pierces through his defenses with a dashing punch. Akuma recovers quickly and thanks Ryu for making it neccessary for him to “try harder”, he then powers up to what we call “Shin Akuma”(just Akuma when he’s not holdinh back). Ryu gets beat for a while then he remembers his training and tries twice to pull off Oro’s ultimate hidden technique to no avail. Akuma goes for the SGS and Ryu goes for the technique again and lands it. The attack hits Akuma as he grabs Ryu with the SGS. Oro’s attack causes Akuma to err his SGS and dies. Sagat and Sakura take Ryu to a hospital and he recovers. They watch on the television as the plot of the tournament unfolds. (cont)
“The New Evil”(Bison/Other)-
Ken(in), Vega(only for Bison,in), Guile(for Bison,in,replaces Remy), Balrog(for Bison,in), Q(in), Alex(in), Gill(out), Bison(for Bison, in), Chun Li(out), Cammy(for Bison, in), Urien(for other,out), Mel(in), Necro(in), some new ppl.
Okay,Rioting Soul, that is by far the BEST story for street fighter 4 I have ever read. If it was done this way it would be an instant hit.The Akuma and Oro part was perfect,Sakura being by Ryu’s side,Ken being more of a supporter(there for story),Sagat pares with Ryu and fights him and then helps out and saves Sakura’s life, the Ryu and Akuma fight. Hell,THE WHOLE STORY WAS PERFECT! no evil Ryu,thank goodness(that’s been dead since alpha). This would be a perfect and satisifying ending to a great series! Sorry, but you should be working for capcom on this!
Thanks Artayes, I’m glad to hear that it’s that good. I made it up as I typed. I wrote a thought up story possibility for Tekken 5 on the tekken gamefaqs forum a while back and they told me it was “teh roxxors”.
With alittle information I could completely think up the Bison/New Enemy part of the story. Ken would definetly have a big part in this because Ryu already handled his shit so Ken gotta pick up the slack and pull out some new shit.
I agree with whoever said Alex doesn’t have guts. He needs to have a catharsis(drastic change in character) to return. Somebody needs to kill a relative/friend of his instead of just beat them badly.
Huh? I’m not even arguing with you anymore and I said you are right in a sense. If you want to continue argueing with TAS feel free, leave me out of it, I actually don’t care about getting into yet another opinion vs. opinion debate.
Sorry about the misunderstanding, I wasn’t argueing with you as well. I meant that TAS should of read my post to you regarding Alex and his story, because that post clarifies what I’ve been saying. Sorry about the mix-up.
Oh okay, sorry, I was mixed up too.
enygmacuzz - Vega(Cape, known as M.Bison in the US) is dead. Gouki killed him. You can still use your story idea, you just have to come up with an explanation on how he came back to life. If you have trouble figuring out how to do this, increase your intake of Marvel Comics… anyway, it was a good read!
Rioting Soul - We don’t know if Sagat saw Gouki kill Vega, Capcom is very vague on lots of things during SF2 so you can say that he did in your story if you want, doesn’t hurt anything.
Oro did however meet Gouki in SF3 Third Strike. In the Japanese SF Eternal Flow Chart, there is an arrow connecting Oro to Gouki indicating that they fought each other during SF3TS. The outcome of the match has not been revealed, but whoever won, both prolly walked away alive or else Capcom would of stated otherwise. Anyway, great version of SF4 Man!
Darn it, I knew I should of wrote my SF4 Story yesterday and now I have to follow both of you guys engymacuzz’s and Rioting Soul’s cool stories, but eh… here goes -
Quoting the above since it’s all part of my SF4 Story Concept. Or, enough of it is anyway without me having to repeat certain parts methinks… anyway, here goes.
One year after SF3 Third Strike Gill Realized the End of the World Prophecy from his SF3SI ending was about to come true. He decided to forcefully recruit Alex, but he Patricia and Tom went on the run. Since he could not find Alex, he decided to train two pupils in his styles, one in Fire, another in Ice. For fire he made the obvious choice. Ken Masters. Gill kidnapped Eliza and Mel so Ken is forced to train with Gill since only he knows their location. Training under Gill, Ken’s Ki Flames become real flames and once again, he catches up with Ryu who trained with Oro.
For his ‘Ice’ Style, he chooses the above named Kung Fu Shanghai Assasin, only his freezing technique becomes a lot more subtle. It involves him cutting you with his sword and sending his Ki/Chi/Life Energy into you to slow you down. Along with Ken’s overly Flamboyant Style and his subtle style, the two balance out each other well.
The man who taought Vega(Cape), Gill and Urien resurfaces. Vega didn’t actually kill him like he thought. He was healed up after Vega defeated him with the use of genetics, robotics, advanced science, whatever, making him part cyborg. He shows up at Gill’s crib and defeats him and Urien. He beats Gill up so bad Resurrection can’t even help get him out of his coma. Ken and the Kung Fu student arrive too late, and the new baddie tells Ken if he wants to know where Eliza and Mel are, sign up for the next SF Tourney.
The New Villain runs an Organization even above Gill’s Illuminati and he knows EVERYTHING so it is easy for him to find Alex and invite him otherwise Tom and Patricia would die as he also sent Alex a lot of photos with him in the background of Tom and Patricia for he can find them whenever he wants and kill them whenever, so Alex joins up so they can live. And since the baddie knows all, he knows where Ken and Eliza are.
The baddie’s Gimmick is he can control Gravity. Via Projectiles, he can toss them at you to speed you up, slow you down, levitate you or ground you. And due to his Robotics, he is already way past regular Human Limits. He wants to bring about the Prophecy but realizes that SFers have thwarted Shadowloo and the Illuminati in the past, so he’s just gonna invite them to the Tourney and do away with them at the same time. He also has a lost “Red Sea Scroll,” LOL! that has a missing part of Gill’s prophecy.
Ryu and Sagat’s rematch happens, it’s amazing, stuff blows up, it’s worthy of three out of four Gods, etc. They both Dragon Punch each other and are knocked out at the same time and stay unconscious for a full hour. They both wake up at the same exact time causing a tie. Both are satisfied with this, neither wants to continue the rivalry and they move on.
The new boss that can control Gravity centers himself at the Earth’s Core to amplify his Gravitational Powers. Since the Moon is caught up in the Earth’s Gravitational Pull, he decides to use his powers at the core to destroy the Moon kicking of the first phase of the prophecy. Alex, Ken, the other student, Guile, Chun-Li and Guy(whose been hiding all these years because he was looking for the baddie) all reach him - some have enough wins to reach him, others just locate him. The Boss kicks all of their Asses. And the Missing Part of Gill’s Prophecy was - “Only a Dragon of Light can ultimatly prevent the end of the World” WHICH TURNS OUT TO BE RYU!!! During a long and vicous Fight were Ryu almost dies, he manages to defeat the bad guy, who after a Shin Shoryuken falls down a crevice that seems to lead to the Earth’s Volcanic Center, so it at least looks like he’s dead. The Masters Foundation finally locates Eliza and Mel, Ryu and Ken look forwrd to fighting in the next SF Tourney since Ken has become that much stronger, THE END.
Ah well, gave it my best…
holy shiat. sorry i’ve been away dudes. good to see the creative juices flowing, tho.
as for “zenith”, i haven’t really put much thought into it. not enough to stack up in this thread, anyway :]
Rioting Soul, could you keep writing?
That was good.
This turned from Mel Masters devoted to “What is SF4 gonna be?” in a matter of 10 posts… I just wish that I could submit a character for this game. And I definately hope that this won’t be the last SF! SF was the good shit, But It’ll have to end. I just hope it end a lot later than this!
hmmm
i love the idea of evil ryu being the final boss of the next game. Finally ryu dies. Don’t get me wrong i love him … .he’s my favorite fighter but he does seem sorta “all powerful” and that’s a bad thing.
I’m not really diggin’ the idea of Mel. I see Sean in that possition already sorta. I don’t know … it just seems too … uhh … obvious?!?
I always wondered about Ken though … Ryu turns to the Dark Hadou why is it that Ken never does? I know his focus wasn’t what Ryu’s was but Ken’s creativity i think would spawn off a whole new kinda Dark Hadou kinda thing. Of course he’d only be getting a taste of that power as it is still new to him but i figure it’d be something like the Flame Hadou or something. I’m just shocked that ken never tasted any of that for all of his creativity in the art.
Unlike both Ryu and Akuma, Ken did not dedicate himself fully to mastering the martial arts. Martial arts is all that Ryu and Akuma live for and that obsession was what brought out Satsui No Hadou in Akuma and was what triggered Ryu’s Alpha encounters with Satsui No Hadou. Ken however did not fully dedicate himself, he let himself have a life, a wife and a kid. That’s pretty much why he never faced Satsui No Hadou.
Ken does have an encounter in SVC Chaos… Thus, Violent Ken. But In the real series, I can agree. Ken “never” does does encounter the Satsu no hadou in SF. But “Never” is still not a good term, Because SVC is the only offical Capcom vs. SNK sequel since CVS2. And Capcom vs. SNK is linked to Street Fighter
