How hard do you have to mash toget max RFF hits? I remember using the max hits card in HnH, and I was like “55 hits!? The hell do you get that much!?” I usually get 25-30.
fooblat gets max hits a lot by kinda rubs the stick’s buttons it looks strange but it works

I think you might have the times wrong O_o
probably made it looked like it was like 6 minutes or something
but it should’ve specified its hours/minutes and not minutes/seconds

What’s the proper way to do the reset I see good Haggar players do, where you do two j.Ls in your air series and then do an air SPD?
do a longish combo and they will drop out when you hit them with L so you have to time it for when they flip out to do the back drop
I have 90% rate of success by Mashing “X” with my left hand thumb and Mashing the “Y” and “B” with my right hand thumb at the same time. You need to alternately press the “X” then “Y” and “B”
Still having trouble doing this reset. What strength SPD do you use? And do have to cross them under or anything funny?
If you are struggling just go for a regular throw
Practice in training mode with the dummy set to different air recoveries (back, forward, neutral) so you can recognize the difference in your reset window… Hit the Ls as soon as you get a launch (do it from S, not from dp+L) and you must wait for them to flip out before going for the throw. If you do it too early you’ll be close enough but whiff the backdrop, too late and they’ll be too far away. I like to ‘protect’ my reset by calling doom missiles right as I launch, so in case I whiff the missiles will cover and whiff punish, and if I connect, I get a free OTG without using dropkick to continue the combo.
So I would just recommend launching with S, then hitting LL as soon as possible, wait, then react to the tech. Use HCB+L as it has the most range and least recovery (IIRC), making the reset a little bit easier. If you can follow up the combo it’s worth it since it’s a reset anyway, you might learn to change the strength of your SPD depending on the range you see them tech away from you. Hope this helps!
Wow thanks a lot for the really in depth post! I was trying to do it off L Hoodlum which is why it probably wasn’t working, I’ll try it using the method you suggested.
