I don’t mean to shit on the poor folk who only have one controller (wireless) for their system, but don’t a lot of big video game tournaments ban wireless controllers?
Also, remember what happened at Tekken Grand Finals last year? some idiot in the audience synced his controller to the system that was playing on the big screen… he pressed the home button midmatch during the last round. What a dummy.

To My Persian twinz: aye since you have cvs2 last tourney in Apr. why don’t you add GGXXAC this month since it’s gonna be for EVO2K9. i’m sure a good amt. of GG playerz will be attending there since most of these cats are coming around the bay. and i wouldn’t mind running it. as a matter of fact i’ll bring a TV and a PS2 no problem just hook me up with the brackets.

The reason why we are not having any other games at the next tourney is due to time constraints. Sf4 takes a long time to go through, and it doesnt help when we call your name for sf4 and your playing somewhere else. Which means we get backed up. This was the problem last tourney. As much as we want other games, we have to be able to leave by 10pm next time, and we didnt even get to leave till like 12:30am and managment was really upset with us.

Microsoft has an official Xbox 360 controller that works really well, you could get one for less than 30 bucks.

as far as wirless controllers involved and what Thrust07 said about ppl not having sticks? maybe they are more confortable on playing pad so reset the game if that’s really nessacary imo. should only take a few minutes while niggaz is adusting controller settings/button settings on pratice mode, options or, whatever the case maybe. nuff said on the controller pts. lets get it poppin:party:

The problem is even if you reset the system, the controller will still be synced and can interfere at any time. that shit happened last night at munchies and we spent 5 mins looking around for a ghost controller and it ended up being the one in your backpack the funny thing was you didn’t even sync the controller up that day. Imagine that happening during a tournament that was 5 times the size of munchies.
Yeah wireless pads are a problem.
