Nevermind, see you got it.

Mega 64: Mass Effect 2 Censorship

Everyone survived for me, I did not have a single specific upgrade, though everyone was loyal. I just picked who I thought was best suited for each situation in the end, and it worked out on my first try.

Hrm.
At the end. About to jump the omega 4 relay. But I’m kind of pissed because I missed a lot of upgrades (well, not a lot. Like 6) but I can’t see to find spare cash anywhere.
I’ve done every side quest and mission but liara’s stupid hacking terminal. Any suggestions?
Once you finish the game on any character, all new characters (including imports) get an additional 200k credits? I think, and 50k resources
So imports start with like 300k credits and 60k resources if they were level 60… or something like that

Yeah. I did that. :\

oh wierd dunno then, in my second playthrough there’s one upgrade i cant afford, got everything else - i think it was a 75k shepard hp upgrade

Did you get all the shop discounts for every store?

shop discounts, if anyone is curious

Spoiler

Citadel - All shops are easily discounted by talking to the owner
Illium - Do the detectives sting quest and makesure you get a discount before you arrest her, do conrads sidequest and agree to help/be nice - talking to the merchant gets a discount before you sort her out, memories of illium is the asari/krogan romance "oh blue rose of illium!"
Tuchanka - Blow up monkies for the weapon shop, do… I think Grunts loyalty mission and talk to the Dr and be nice to him to get the discount from his (I’m not 100% on this one, i thought i did the same thing on both plays but didn’t get a discount the first time)
Omega - For the quarian, dont just give him the money, say you’ll talk to the Elcor - this gets you both the quarian and elcor discounts, talk to batarian for his

I plan on playing through again so I’ll keep all that stuff in mind. Likely going to play as Engineer or Infiltrator.

From what I’ve played thus far I think the sentinel is probably the best class in the game (about the only one I haven’t played is the infiltrator, and he may very well be better because cloak seems like a fucking life saver).

Tech armor is an awesome ability. Stronger shields, blows up when destroyed, and gives a 15% power damage bonus. What’s not to love?

Sentinel can handle shields (overload), barriers and armor (warp), and he can even take out husks in the red with throw. They also seem to get the largest cooldown bonus from the class skill (-30% recharge time). The sentinel’s only real weaknesses are a lack of weapons and ammo powers. Both can be easily amended with Advanced Training. (Warp Ammo and Sniper Rifle are best, IMO)

Adepts seem like the worst class in the game (though by no means unplayable). Later difficulties are definitely a bitch since shields, armors, and barriers are everywhere.

Right now I’m inclined to agree I don’t know whose idea it was to not let biotic powers affect armor, but it was a really shitty one. Sure you can really fuck shit up when it’s unshielded, but by then most stuff goes down quickly anyway, and on Veteran and Insane most stuff is armored anyway. Vanguard charge seems a bit silly too because it’s basically a quick way for you to charge to your death. I feel sorry for the Adepts and Vanguards that try Insane.

Was just about to post this. Throw is so good when Tech Armor is up and is upgraded to Heavy Throw.

Just beat the game. Jawesome.
Fuck the Illusive Man. He’s a bitch.

What’d be a nice ME3 feature is if you upload a save that was continued from 1 and 2 and you beat the game you should be able to then change the outcome from every event in 1 and 2 and then play 3. It’s insane to have to play through two games changing one or two minor things to see the outcome in the third.

spoiler? idk, just incase - thoughts for 3

[details=Spoiler]It’s cool that actions carry over to the next game, i don’t really think there were any major repercussions from your actions going from 1 to 2, barring a few little events here and there - you can change your appearance and class, whatever happens to the council, how you’re treated in the game is pretty much the same, the kaiden/ashley issue is pretty much interchangable exactly outside of romances, i dont know what happens with regards to wrex but either way Grunts gonna get his shit done to gain loyalty so
I’m really hoping those events from 1 and 2 that appear major (Rachni, council, geth, quarians, collector base, etc) have a major impact on the story… obviouslly the ending is gonna have to be Shepard saving the day again, but just having to go about it a different way
Everything I’ve done in 1 and 2 is the way I’ve wanted it to go, regardless if it was a ‘bad’ choice for 3[/details]

Yup.

my ending

Spoiler

I reprogrammed the Geth and destroyed the collectors base.
My theory is that it’ll end up being the entire universe vs. the reapers in ME3 with Shepard obviously at the helm.
That will play in all your past choices. Grunt becoming an Urdnot/Wrex banding all the Krogan clans. The Quarians and Geth you saved settling their differences and joining forces. The Rachni coming out of hiding and aiding shepard as well. All of this will likely come into play in ME3. Or atleast it should. I have a feeling the Illusive Man is going to have a huge roll in ME3 and the back story of the reapers will finally be revealed.
I think the Illusive Man is a reaper himself. Think about it. The protheans and all creatures before them were destroyed at the apex of their progress in the universe. The Illusive Man wants human supremecy all through out the galaxy. I.E. Controlling the galaxy. I.E. Being at the apex of their progress. Just so they can be turned into collectors.

Oh yeah, and since I don’t consider this a spoiler. WTF is with having to go back to disc 1 after going into the Omega relay?! REALLY BIOWARE? REALLY?!
Fuck you.

Wow that sounds really shitty. Biowares been on the decline ever since they merged up with EA.

That disc swapping must only occur on the 360 version, because that doesn’t happen in the PC version (it’d be pretty sad, otherwise).

Nope, doesn’t happen on the PC version. Like Dragon Age, it’s the preferred version. I’m starting to feel a lot of contempt for WRPG developers. They really do not give a shit about console versions (unless MS pays them to like Fallout) otherwise they’ll just make the PC version superior and call it a day.

I think it’s 360 and Non-steam PC version you gotta disc swap

I don’t have the PC version on Steam and I never once have to swap disks.
