Jacob and Grunt were pretty bland iyam.
Well all of Grunt’s personality comes from Okeer. And even then he didn’t teach him everything. Grunt’s loyalty mission led a little more into his personality and more into krogan lifestyles which I thought was cool.
I just finished Mass Effect game and I thought that the game was amazing. My only problem was that I made tons of mistakes with the characters in the game, I’m going to have to play all over again( though i had already planned to) so that i can have everything the way I want in case they make a possible sequel.
warp ammo, geth shield boost or reave are your best choices. I love the way warp ammo shredds apart health, armor and barriers personally (50% weapon damage maxed out).
It’s already a confirmed trilogy, so one more left.
Really? That’s the only reason I decided to pick her. In that case I think I’ll kick her to the curb… then again maybe seeing her face will be the bonus in ME3. I do wish there were a way to recall all of my choices from the last game though. Apparently in my final playthrough I hit Ashley, but all the times before that I chose Liara, also I chose to disband the council in one playthrough, but apparently on this one they’re still together. I may end up going through the first game again because I didn’t realize when I started up this playthrough I was at level 58. Then again there’s the bonus for beating this one and restarting… so many choices. I’m torn on what to do.
Also does anyone notice how the dialoge between male Shepard and Jacob is uncomfortably ambiguous up to a certain point? I realize why this is, but all this “I want to talk about you and get to know you better” bromance shit is kinda creepy.
Just finished the game thought it was awesome. I think the story was pretty good connecting ME1 and looking forward to the future. It added more depth to the characters and settled some questions as well
final level

Last mission was clever I thought although I had to play it twice because Mordin died in my first go through. So I lvled him up sent him to escort the survivors which worked. The boss was a little to easy for me maybe I wont use the mini nuke again. Looking forward to getting my guy to lvl 30 dumping him and playing a sentinel. I also love the option to keep playing and also being able to start a new game with that character.
maybe?
Spoiler
Who here thinks that Dark Energy will be an important plot device in the 3rd game?
I think that as well, I also have a theory that the Illusive Man and the Shadow Broker are the same person.
shadow broker
Spoiler
I don’t think so I read something in the mass effect wikia about how the shadow broker tried to sell Shepard’s corpse to someone but then Liara worked with cerberus to retrieve his body from him.
Yeah that is in there but this is Cerberus we are talking about here, what if both angles are being worked.

Enjoying so far, didn’t finish the first one, i got bored half way.
i just picked up the 2nd sniper rifle, i think its pretty crap compared to the first one. After you fire one shot you’re uncloaked and so you just get shot up whilst you shoot some more weakrounds, might as well use the 1st one which lets you shoot and get behind cover before yourcloak runs out. I’m pretty sure you can do more damage in ten shots with #1 than you can with #2.
is it just me, or does garrus like to die a lot, i always have to hide him miles from the action as he’s so frail he just dies every 2 seconds, grunt on the otherhand i can leave to his own devices, he’s just too much. bar him getting caught in an ‘unable to take cover moment’ he almost never dies.
How far through am i if i’m recruiting the assasin and have about 2 more characters to recruit after that?
All we really know about the TSB is that no one knows what he looks like, he is very well connected, and the word illusive means unreal or deceptive so Martin Sheen could very well be TIM but I doubt it because TSB existed before humans could use the mass relays. After reading ME: Ascension I was sure Udina was TIM because several times it mentions how politically connected he is and that he has gray hair…then ME2 came out x_X, which reminds me when the subject 0 video was released I thought it was an older Gillian Grayson lol.
In ME1 Barla Von thinks TSB is multiple people which is how he stays so well informed.
Gah, Jack’s loyalty dropped for me, but she didn’t lose Warp Ammo or her second outfit. I think I can get her loyalty back once I have enough Paragon/Renegade points, but I don’t know how much I need.
In the loading screen tips, it even says “Choices you make in Mass Effect 2 will have dire consequences in Mass Effect 3” or something to that effect.
BTW, any spell that knocks someone in mid-air (Pull, Throw, Slam) + Concussive shot = death and it looks AWESOME. Get the AOE versions of spells and you can 2-shot waves of enemies at a time, it’s great.
Just beat it with everyone alive on Normal, now I’m taking my lvl 28 Infiltrator to try to beat it on insane. Man you go down FAST in this mode…
^_-;
I haven’t treated any of my people like crap in ME1 so I have nothing to worry about really.
And I plan on killing Kaiden. I usually kill Ashley cause she’s a dumb racist cunt. But oh well.
The shadow broker seems more likely like a corporation of aliens than a single being. Also in ME1 the taking down cerberus sidequest had the shadow broker working directly against cerberus.
The Scottish engineer is hilarious. I liked the banter about there being too many females and only one man.
Has it been announced whether or not ME3 will still be on current console hardware or not? Also how long do you all think it will be before they announce Mass Effect: The Movie ? I’m thinking it’ll come out about a month after ME3.
