Mass Effect 2. Somebody's getting shot and thrown out a window

“Alarmed; by my head, here comes Tybalt of the Capulets.”
“Dimissive; by my heel, I care not.”

Jack has Warp Ammo. Case closed.

I don’t count her warp ammo as a positive because Grunt has squad incendiary ammo…unless warp ammo is better then incendiary ammo which is possible but I don’t think it is.

anybody know if any of the N7 missions give paragon/renegade points?

From what I’ve read over on the BioWare forums and various other sources, Warp Ammo and Armor-Piercing Ammo are considered the best ammo upgrades.

Thank you sir! I found a couple of those but I got bored of looking and did the omega 4 relay instead

Grunts little chats are great

Spoiler

“Commander!”
“What’s up Grunt?”
“I’ve finally figured it out! I. hate. Turians! Isn’t that great??”
“Uhh…”

Just beat it, so dope!!! can’t wait for mass effect 3

Finally beat it damn what a fucking awesome game easily my favorite 3d game. The mid game plot twist was fucking excellent I don’t think anyone saw that coming and while the final boss was disappointingly easy on veteran it was a great level overall:tup:

For anyone interested in how reapers will potentially be defeated in ME3.

Question, just how much extra armor upgrades are there? I ended on going through the entire game with just the extra off hand ammo holders and heavy weapon holders. Pretty much default looking armor.

Just completed my first play trough, absolutely loved it. A vast improvement over the first, no question. I’ll take this stream lined goodness over the cumbersomeness of the first any day.

Anyways, I managed to get 800 gamer points on one play through. all my party members survived, so did Shepard. I went Renegade all the way in order keep it in line with the save file I had imported from ME1. Didn’t know this game let you keep playing after you’re done to get any missed quests, or just start a new game+ if you want. Pretty neat feature. Now time to go Paragon.

So I guess no one thinks the story is WAY weaker than the first?

I thought it was, mostly because it didn’t progress anywhere until the very end. But then again, it’s not like the first one was super engaging until late either.

The game just put way too much emphasis on collecting a team, when in the end, you never really get to use all of the members all of the time. If they trimmed down the lineup, and made more of the game about the Reaper/Collector storyline, it would of felt a bit more fluid.

anyone think fighting the geth was way harder in this one than the first?

I barely died in normal mode…

you didn’t miss anything from the main story…

On ME2 veteran is harder then ME1 insanity imo lol.

edit: Even after pursuing Tali you don’t get to see her face =/.

I’ve had a much easier time by far in ME2

Because this game focused on character development, something the first game was pretty weak in.

This is also the middle game, the Empire Strikes Back. You have to appreciate who your fellow squad members are and what they’re going through. The

unhappy ending

Spoiler

I had both Mordin and Zaeed die. I think every time you have someone do something special (besides the biotic barrier) they end up dying. Right as I landed on the ship I choose Mordin to climb through the vents so he could get inside and open the doors (not sure what the alternatives are) and I had Zaeed be a distraction.

sort of ending spoiler

[details=Spoiler]Lol… you know you can save her right? I watched some random brunette get turned to goo in my ending. Before that it gave you the option of some side quest and saving your crew immediately. I’m guessing you took the side quest.
[/details]

that is AWESOME. thanks.

I’m importing my renegade vanguard file from ME1 I get a bonus power which 1 should I pick?

armor piercing ammo
barrier
slam
fortification
geth shield boost
energy drain
reave
shredder ammo
warp ammo

Geth Shield Boost is good to, a Vanguard needs it as you will do alot of upclose fighting. Vanguard was my favorite class in ME1, they nerfed it pretty bad here.

Charge kicks some serious ass though. I didn’t have too much trouble after I got Samara. I ran Samara and Miranda and coupled with incendiary ammo basically everything got wrecked. I dunno how well it’d work on harder difficulties, but it did pretty well on normal.
