If you don’t have a weapon’s skill, you can still do shit with it. A good example of this is that I can still fuck people up with a shotgun even though I’m an Infiltrator.
True. I think my question wasn’t clear. I figured that you were playing a class (as I’m lazy and not reading old posts right now) that actually uses the sniper rifle so I was wondering what was wrong with it from the POV of a class that can level in it. I mentioned Ash and Garrus because I know they can both train in the snipe tree. Sorry for the mix up.
The sniper rifle just doesn’t do enough damage to be viable. Its only real use is to insta-kill something from light-years away by equipping it with High Explosive Rounds and hitting someone with a bullet that’s so powerful that it knocks him off the edge of a fuckin’ building.
Yeah, on top of those the recoil and the sway doesn’t justify the damage & cooldown either. ME 2 sniper rifle seems have a more reasonable recoil, ME1 sniper isn’t too fun to play with. Using one in insane mode use just torture, now that I think about it I had no idea why I had the patience to clear insane with infiltrator.
Unless biotic charge have a huge Cooldown I am gonna try Vanguard first, what about you guys?
So the sway is still present even if you are sniper trained? Hmm I thought that was just because I was a Vanguard. Well it looks like Vanguard again for me. On a random note what have you guys named your Sheps? My main two are Ryu (because I am unoriginal) and Elisa (because Keith David and Marina Sirtis hit me with Gargoyles nostalgia), both female.
Level 1 Throw is reported to have a cooldown of three seconds.
ME2’s sniper rifle functions (from the video I had seem) like your everyday FPS’s sniper rifle, so it shouldn’t be annoying like ME1.

i’m looking forward to this game, but i really hate the ad campaign for it. it’s too glitzy and dumb and i hope the game hasn’t been fucking turned into something stupid and action-packed for the sake of being action packed.

I preordered the gamestop gun/armor so I have no option but to go soldier. 
I played vanguard in the first game but I don’t really like the way it looks in ME2. If I didn’t preorder I’d go adept or something. Push/Lift around corners looks sweet.

I wonder if i load up my character from ME1 to ME2, will she look exactly the same from ME1? Same class , origin background and appearance?
Also i hope they are keeping the same voice actors for everyone. except male shepard.
One of the main reasons my character is female is because she had a good voice actress. The voice actor for male shepard was terrible.

I think all the original voice actors are returning. The problem is Jennifer Hale is makes the male Shep voice actor look bad. I’m sure he would still suck but if JH wasn’t in it he would at least be bearable.

For these preorder armors… are they only heavy class or are you getting to pick? Kinda wondering now since I just remembered I have the blood dragon armor.
