@odin I remember reading reviews for A-Force when it came out. They were so stupid and contradictory. Most of them would say how great it was that Marvel was finally letting their female characters show what great and bad ass characters they were and it was exciting to see them all in one place.
Then they’d finish the review saying not to buy it because it “decisively” and “aggressively” feminist. Whatever the fuck that means. Lol
It’s so strange that people don’t like and or fear female empowerment. Lol.
It’s crazy how much shit has changed from just 3 years ago but sad how much it’s stayed the same for generations

for sure. I’d pick a series here and there to read just so I could stay semi current when I worked at the comic book store. Though A-force came out after the fact it was recommended to me by my old manager since she knew most of my favorite marvel characters are female.
When they announced miles I was like “oh, cool.” Same with Riri Williams becoming Iron-Heart and a bunch of other changes. People being mad about marvel being progressive and inclusive to other races, backgrounds and genders obviously don’t know the history of marvel. They’ve literally always been this way. Lol
Russos said the spoiler ban lifted today.

A-Force was great as the basic idea, but both volumes they published were just atrocious, IMO. Not fresh or interesting at all.
