Marvel Studios | Hide Your Eyes, Hide Your Ears

Summary

I doubt Miles will he in this so soon. We need a more grown ass peter before that. Peter is basically a white Miles at the moment anyway.

Also agree that we need a she hulk movie asap. Hopefully Marvel can sort something out with Universal. Dont known if jennifer garner is too old for that but she would make a hot lawyer/she hulk combo. Edit: just realised shes 47. Nevermind…

With the exception of the trailer itself, I would say it’s been hidden pretty well. If you clicked the trailer it has a full 10 second warning telling you it will spoil it. If you still watched it, you wanted to know more.

Edit: This aged well

Honestly, next to RDJ, they may have been some of the best casting decisions made given the growth of the characters.

Friendly reminder this was posted on Twitter on May 2:

For the fake nerds that haven’t seen EG yet but will complain if they see spoilers.

Anyway, we should ditch the spoiler tags.
Russo said that a big movie should be no holds barred after the 2nd weekend of release.

@Pertho made a post about it earlier in the week for feedback. The “rule” for this movie was made early on. It’d be rude to renege on it now. I do think that going forward, two weekends (or 9 days) should become the standard.

Far from Home has a wide window in this case though. Since the movie comes out on July 2, two weekends would be July 15. This is the exception, not the rule when it comes to movies. This is honestly done to beef up that first weekend total. Paramount did that with the Transformers movies.

What did he say for this one?

It’s in the first post.

That being said, that means the discussion for Spider-man will be a thing since it is all speculation at that point.

Anyone who ever read the comics knew the Multiverse was coming with Avengers 1.

Pffft, I knew the Multiverse was coming when I watched Captain America… 1990.

I knew it would come eventually. I just really wish it didn’t. :frowning:

Cringy scenes

Summary

I was meh about the wahmen powah scene

The Cap America: gay counselor scene was 100X more unbearable for me. I think because my grandfather is only about 10 years younger than Cap and I can only laugh at the idea of him in that scene.

Honestly I am not sure why?

Summary

Russo’s character wasn’t sashaying through the scene looking like a disturbed Lisa Frank poster. His sexuality was almost a blink and you’ll miss it reference.

The A-Force scene was cool, but I admit it did seem a bit on the nose. The all women scene in Infinity War wasn’t noticed because the moment seemed to happen more organically. I give this one a pass because fan service was the M.O. for that scene. It was more spectacle than subject. They can’t try that again though without it being ridiculous.

He means that Cap should be hating fags and not counseling them.

I still don’t understand the issue with hinted/Easter egg of A-Force. It was super cool to me. Probably one of my favorite moments in End Game. Like “look at all these super bad ass chicks the MCU has made being in one scene”. Them making an A-Force movie would be super cool to me.
