Marvel Studios | Hide Your Eyes, Hide Your Ears

Just watched endgame:

Summary

I knew when Steve saw Peggy Carter through the glass he was going to go back to his original time at the end of the movie. Endgame is still a better love story than Twilight.

Captain wielding Mjolnir and putting in work was one of my favorite marvel scenes.

Hail Hydra!

Reminder that at 12:00 on Thursday nobody has to use spoiler tags anymore.

So come this friday don’t click on this thread on accident.

Also, feedback on keeping spoilers to 1 week or 2 weeks for all future stuff. I know I chose two but if you guys would rather keep it at 1 as a permanent policy, I’m fine with it.

I am not unhappy about a two week spoiler free period, but I think if you are that invested in a film, you’d have seen it within 2 weekends. So in this case, it’d have been the 6th instead of the 9th. This is also the approach that the Russo’s stated.

How many kids you got?

This is the type of hot take I expect from you childless heathens with no sympathy.

I made it within 1 week of the release. Kids ain’t no excuse. :sunglasses:

2 week limit on big movies 1 on big TV show episodes I think.

Like why would you even come into a spoiler discussion thread when it just came out. You’d barely get to see the discussions because it’s all summary shit.

Yo i’ve accidentally opened threads on my cellphone. 999999999% of the time you’re absolutely right. But righg now there are other marvel news and such that people may want to discuss without running into spoilers.

But thats why I’m asking for feedback. Instead I’m getting replies from genetic dead ends like eskills and Optimus24 fuck you two aint nobody believing you have kids. :japanese_goblin: :japanese_goblin: :japanese_goblin:

0 but I have a ton of friends who do that have already seen the movie. Most went on the Monday or Wednesday evening show following the release. Not like the release date was dropped a week before. Two full weeks for a large release is OK, but really, two weekends post release is all you need.

9 day grace period sounds like a good compromise actually.

Everybody good with a 10 day period starting from the thursday premier and ending the monday after the second week in theaters?

If it works for Cap and the Russos, it works for me

I agree with this. I think one week is plenty. The onus is on you to avoid spoiling yourself by visiting a thread about a brand new movie you’re going to see.

I can usually get to a movie within 2 weeks of it being released, but I just avoid spoiler threads like the plague because of SRK posters of the past who would spoil everything. I do like the idea of coming down hard on spoilers being in non related threads because that’s just being an asshole.

I’m kind of curious how many parents there are on SRK. Off the top of my head I know of about 4 posters besides myself with kids.

I imagine people go into the thread to see if people liked the movie or not, get some impressions from “normal” people while still not wanting to be spoiled.

Not hard to figure out honestly.

Yeah, but you also run the risk of learning too much about it.

Since I’ve been on medical leave I’ve been able to see everything I’ve been wanting to see on opening day. When I do work I work thurs-sun so I usually see whatever new release I want to see on Monday.

It really isn’t that hard to avoid spoilers. Most instance I’ve seen is people get mad at spoilers by going to sites that always post spoilers. lol.
