Marvel Studios | Hide Your Eyes, Hide Your Ears

I’ve done stunt stuff before, I took a break because of marriage. I’m looking to get back into training for it with one of local stunt friends who owns a gym in CT.

But Hollywood wise alot of places are still locked down. NYC I don’t think is filming yet, MA isn’t doin shit but I can see them doin sumtin soon, CA is locked down again and GA i think might be locked down. So unless you got a indy project not sure who’s hiring atm

IIRC Canada is another big locale for filming. I know they are basically telling Americans to kick rocks when they try to go to Canada. The Toronto Blue Jays weren’t even able to get around that.

NYC open back up for filming last week

Only at the first season, before Feige got rid of the Marvel Studios Creative Committee led by Joe Quesada and Jeph Loeb, which basically allowed him for Marvel Studios to sever ties with Marvel Entertainment.

The Netflix series came later.

I’m sure if the MCC was still around, we would have seen the Defenders in the portals scene of Endgame. That’s a pity, but we got better movies at least (well, Captain Marvel wasn’t a good movie).

As for Feige, he just disowns anything made by Loeb and Perlmutter. He will probably continue to ignore it and just stick to his own personal projects.

Yeah except…

It all depends on Feige.

I think it’s fake hype from the MCUTV side of things.

Their previous “connections” with Infinity War were cringeworthy. I think we had someone talking to Graviton about that “Thanos is coming, you’ll have to fight him” or something like that. Of course the real Thanos didn’t show up at all in the series, so it was a blatantly shoehorned namedrop. It was truly pathetic.

I expect it to be exactly like that. It’s always Marvel TV doing its best to pretend they’re part of the MCU, using very discreetly some things from it, but there’s so far none acknowledge from the TV series in the MCU so far (except for Edwin Jarvis in Endgame, because Feige was very involved in the Agent Carter show).

Yeah aside from using the fallout from Winter Soldier, every time in with the MCU movies have been fairly thin, second season it was just building a Helicarrier while the main plot was going on.

That being said now that Drive has full creative control, hopefully he is smart and not so full of himself enough to use the characters/actors/things that worked. You got several characters on AoS alone that would be great for at least cameos or funny asides.

No you misunderstand

Instead of race swapping danny to asian or biracial like was pitched.

I would rather marvel have used one of their already asian characters

A silver samurai series on disney+ would be marvelous

Danny was going to be asian american at first for the netflix series but loeb said no. And we ended up with 3 seasons of shit.

His best use was in luke cage as luke’s piggy bank bitch boy

Iron fist was shit. If they made him asian would it have fixed anything? Probably not

Like if disney did a series on silver samurai rising ranks and leading the hand. Throw in dakken, psylocke, and nobu. Let it cook. I think that would be a series worth looking into.

The show being shit and Danny being white have nothing to do with each other

oh that is what i said. The show was going to be shit no matter what.

If they do another go around you know they should just keep with coleen is iron fist and has always been iron fist

But they want white people in movies/shows in china so…

They are. Shang-chi is getting a movie.

No. It wasn’t. Why do you insist on digging your heels into this while constantly trying to move goal posts and change the point of your argument when no matter what you are 100% wrong?

Shut the fuck up.

This has nothing to do with why Danny was casted white you fucking idiot. Iron Fist has always been Danny Rand. A white kid

I never said danny was a race swap. I said i am against race swapping and am happy the first asian marvel super hero was not iron fist because the show sucked

Daredevil was already the white martial arts bad ass dude. There was Zero need for 2 of them.

I would also never change matt’s race

Iron fist has always been cringe for me so eh

The question is if danny was casted as asian and was infinitely a better show would you care

Yet the whole point you started posting in here cause you assumed Loeb was racist for not making Danny/Iron Fist Asian. Which if you took 5 god damn seconds you’d realize he never was Asian. The rest of what Loeb did was fucked. 100%. But keeping Danny white was 100% the right call.

The casting of who played Danny Rand was 100% wrong though. That’s indisputable.

Then you tried to make it seem like they turned down Asian stunt coordinators and stunt persons. Which maxx immediately debunked. Now you’re just spinning your wheels on your piles of bullshit

There’s tons of martial artists in Marvel. Of various levels. Always have been. Of all nationalities. I’m not going to name them all off cause there’s no god damn reason to. This isn’t fucking Highlander.

Plus, Matt Murdoc was self taught and was taught by others as a way to overcome his accident/disability.

As for Danny, he stumbled upon the powers of Iron Fist by chance then was shown how to use them by people who knew how to harness the powers Danny now had. There’s a huge difference in their origins so they’re not even relatable. So again. Shut up.

Lastly, You can list all the Asian characters you want until you’re blue in the face but I doubt you’d even know who they are or what their character is. You just happen to know they’re Asian.

So Stop taking like you know what the fuck you’re talking about when you clearly have no clue.

This was never your question to begin with. Stop moving goal posts.

Eat shit

Will Crossover, meaning they are their own things.

No, you don’t understand

Maxx is right.

No, its what the character always was.

No, just shut the fuck up. You got no point.

No one cared what Danny Rand was,

Bravo, fucking Dolt.

No, will crossover, as in will crossover again. They’ve already crossed over before. I feel like there’s no point in even arguing about this at this point.

Except that isn’t what a crossover is.

A crossover is the placement of two or more otherwise discrete fictional characters, settings, or universes into the context of a single story.

They are separate entities

Shangchi vs Ironfist, who wins!!?. Discuss.

Daboog = Why didn’t they cast an Asian-American actor for Iron Fist?? GRRRRR!

Also Daboog = Good thing they didn’t cast an Asian-American actor for Iron Fist cuz that series sucked, AMIRITE GUYZ?

That backpedalling…
