I’m all for diversity. Most of my favorite comic book characters are people of color. Miles, Khamala, Moon Girl, Luke Cage, Psylocke, Jubilee to name a few and that’s just marvel.
However, like I said, if they had made Danny Asian they would have had to rewrite all of Iron Fists and Danny’s history to make it work. Which is stupid and dumb and a lot of unnecessary energy wasted.
The show was bad. We get it and we agree with that. But that was a collective effort of laziness, lack of knowledge of the IP, budget and several other things.

They auditioned every race for the stunts. Alot of my close friends worked multiple episodes, one of my friends who I’ve known since he was 13 was Danny’s stuntman
The man was hired in part because he was on Game of Thrones and added ‘star power’. He was terrible but a lot of that was the guy they hired as a showrunner being low rent. Which getting back to the topic at hand seems to have been Loeb’s homeboy as they brought him back for the Inhumans series.
IIRC They started shooting a few weeks after casting. So Finn Jones didn’t even have time to attempt to get in shape or train for the role. He basically got cast and they started filming. That show was doomed from the start.
He didnt try to get into any sort of shape. He gave the bare minimum in all the training. Even when season 2 rolled around everyone else especially the girl gave their A effort… He didn’t

No she had a stunt double lmfao. I hate that statement they did their own stunts. Unless you got Tom cruise power you are gonna still have a stunt double. She had 3 stunt doubles. She may have done some stuff but insurance will not allow someone of her level to do 100% stunts
