That’s not Madelyne. That’s Rachel Summers.

Ignore the event stuff unless it crosses over directly into the books you read. If it does and it peaks your interest just pick up the trades a few months later.
Kind of gives me the feeling that when the MCU decides to introduce mutants they’ll do a variation of “there’s always been a hidden mutant government hidden away”. Maybe some kind of cataclysm and it forces them to be shown to the world.
That isn’t Cyclops that’s Darth Cuck.
The sad part is even outside the upcoming crossover there is a canon explanation and reason for every blade shown in that image.
Carol is gonna be an accuser for the Kree empire now
There’s also a preview for X-factor but it seems they forgot to make clickable thumbails
Jeezus. Avengers are gettin merked
Man, I liked Carol more before they really tried to make her thing. Everything seems contrived with her lately.
If I remember correctly the accuser weapons are called Universal Weapons or something like that. Eh, I am cooler with this then the recent have her evil and turn on folk arc.
She’s probably not evil. The fact the fantastic four are with them should tell us something
The Captain Marvel comics are so whatever.
I tried, I really tried. I read like 3 full volumes and… theyr’e so whatever. Not a single spark of enjoyment came from those
Who knows, maybe I’m not the target audience, but considering how many times her title has been relaunched and retooled, I’m not sure that it has an audience.
The target audience are people who don’t buy or enjoy comics.
You can see where this might create a problem.
It does but the creative teams keep getting shuffled and like several of Marvel’s books, outside the few where the creators are allowed to find success with their concepts over a period of time without being yanked, they don’t build too much because they don’t get the time or have the direction to do so. Captain Marvel is one of those books you know the editorial have more hooks in then say one written by Ewing or Hickman.
Hands a lol small but love how detailed his stuff is
Well, nope.
I don’t think you’ve ever read Carol Danvers Captain Marvel comics…
I’m not sure about it. Well, as for sales, Hickman’s books are usually instant hits. Ewing not so much, he’s been succesful with Immortal Hulk but before of that, Ultimates2 wasn’t that succesful and his Inhumans run flopped (it wasn’t good and so it was short-lived; and yes I think Marvel has very specific requests for that book).
I simply feel like Captain Marvel’s books are marked by a big lack of ambition. I don’t think Marvel is too much protective of the CapMar books. In fact I think it’s the opposite, I feel like at this point (and for the last 5 to 6 years) they’ve been just willing to try at anything that could make the Carol books work. It’s just whatever the writers have come up with has simply been not ambitious or functional.
