So it’s probably a little early too be asking this seeing as how the secret invasion is just beginning, but who thinks that the next big crossover will somehow be involved with the Infinity Gems? Seems as though the major events recently are direct results of actions of the Illuminati. On top of that the former Gem bearers are coming back into the mainstream a bit more, on top of Adam’s quote “My new powers are for something much deeper than this, something that will affect the whole universe”. Could be a hint towards the gems since he’s so attuned with the Soul Gem. Anyone else leaning towards this same thing?
Depends on how Secret Invasion ends. If the Skrulls get their ass kicked and booted off Earth, I can probably see them trying to obtain the Gems to get revenge. Which will somehow bring Thanos back into the fold again.

From what Marvel has hinted at and said, it seems like Secret Invasion is going to shake up every single book bigtime, so there will be a little break for the next big event. Similar to what has happened to the X-Men after Messiah Complex. At least I hope it’s like that and not like Spider-Man’s OMD/BND reset… Not that there won’t be smaller events like World War Hulk was, much less WWH comics created compared to Civil War, Secret Invasion etc.
Though yeah most of the cosmic events - Annihilation, Annihilation Conquest - have been seperate from whatever is going on on planet Earth. Not that there aren’t connections like Skrulls but still. Infinity Gems? As in, a crossover with everybody like Infinity Gauntlet/Crusade? It will depend if Marvel wants to keep doing things as they have been doing or if they want to bring said events together for one big universe event type of thing.
I really hope Marvel takes at least a year long break before doing anymore big events. It’s a serious drain on my income!
pfft you tellin me…when they announced the additional Secret Invasion tie-ins with Thor and Black Panther, I had to literally stop and think about which comics i was gonna get.
I mean I know for fact i’m getting the main Secret Invasion book along with New and Mighty Avengers, Avengers:The Initiative,Incredible Hercules. I’m gonna wait for the trades on the Captain Britain book, I MIGHT get the Young Avengers/Runaways book, and New Warriors i’ll get just cause its only two issues plus the fact that we’ll see the New Warriors fighting the Old New Warriors.

I got all the WW hulk tie in and just about all the civil war tie in’s. I have to say WW hulk and all its tie in was worth it, CW being close behind. HOM however… I’m so glad I didnt get all that boo boo.
Only tie in in WWH i didn’t get was Heroes For Hire and thats only because i didn’t see how they would figure into dealing with the hulk in the first place.

It was originally intended to be a future 616, but they retconned it.
Earth X is my favourite series of comics ever made.
Universe X and Paradise X are both good, but not up to the extremely high standards set by Earth X.
