Yeah they announced that a while back. She’s just going to take on the the name Captain Marvel as far as we know. And change her costume.
I’ll try out the first issue but Marvel always cancels books with female heroines due to low sales. Kind of too bad. I quite like most of the Marvel comics featuring female leads that I’ve encountered.
I still say Lady Liberators should have been an ongoing and an official team.
Gay, Remender just confimred Patrick Mulligan Host of TOxin was killed off panel by Blackheart in a gutter somwhere. In one fell swoop two character I like have basically been fucked over. Eddie by the bad fucking writing with him being this stupid Nutjob again and Pat
Wait they killed Toxin? Lol I’m indifferent about the character but I can’t think of anyone that was requested to return to comics in letters pages, Cup o’ Joe segments and so forth as often as Toxin was.
Unless Remender is trolling he’s dead.
I should have known when every time Joe Q and Remebder mentioned Toxin and never Pat I should have been wary about him coming back.
He might be trolling. On Twitter Remender’s been getting a little pissed off at people bothering him about continuity. He’s tweeted about that a lot in the last few days.
I only read his Uncanny X-Force and don’t really see any continuity glitches there so not sure what people are bugging him about. Or why he’s even bothering to respond.
Yeah I myself can’t think of any snarls he’s been responsible for lately.

That Toxin miniseries was actually pretty interesting. Peter Milligan and Darick Robertson did that one. I think Milligan has a thing about Razorfist (that lame supervillain who replaced his hands with swords). I’ve seen Razorfist pop up on some other Milligan Marvels. It’s amusing.
I actually liked the fact Toxin and Pat were actually trying to form a relationship wih each other. Always found that aspect of the Symbiotes woefully under-explored.

Last I heard Eddie bonded with the Toxin symbiote, but I don’t actually read Venom. Anyway, he’s not dead as far as I know. The former Toxin owner is the one that ‘might’ be pushing up daisies, but not Eddie Brock.

Yeah Eddie is the new Toxin, and the design is pretty lame compared to old Toxin. Toxin bonding to Eddie is pretty retarded in and of itself with the relationship Toxin and Pat had.
Personally I was hoping Eddie would succeed in killing off all the symbiotes. Not a fan.
One thing I never understood was why it got so many bad reviews, it was great up until the ending.
You have to realize Marvel does do stupid shit to things that should be left alone. Like the whole Brand New Day storyline…

Lol at Eddie going back to being a villain (He’s always been nutty, read any of his Anti-Venom stuff) and basically just being a giant Red Venom now. How uninspiring. Venom comic is fun action though.
It’s wild that they gave up the Anti-Venom thing already since the character was getting around, at least on the video game circuit. He has a big part in Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions and he has a card in UMvC3.
Heck Anti-Venom’s already gotten more exposure than Mr. Negative. Photography pun intended.
