Still the single best page in a comic book.
Fraction now is a hit or miss for me. I would love Mark Waid to write Thor one day. Hopefully the JIM/TMT crossover in the summer makes it interesting.

Out of curiosity did anyone read “Fury’s Big Week 1-8”? They were pretty fun, and Avengers Assemble seems to do a good job appealing to newer comic book fans. I wouldn’t advise anyone who avidly reads comics here to read them though.
I think I’ll jump on Battle Scars in coming weeks since it has such good ratings.
I bought the first issue of Avengers Assemble it was meh. I’m only picking up Avengers and New Avengers right now for AVX tie ins and a bonus that Walt Simonson is doing the art for Avengers. Avengers 25 didn’t have that Bendis speak to it which was good. Loved that page when Thor arrived to talk to Cap.

The ending of Battle Scars was interesting. I do like the costume better on Steve and he should have just used that one for a bit longer but since the Avengers movie is upon us.
I can’t believe that the Avengers movie is one week away along with FCBD
Sounds like all the tie ins are dope, still hesistant, but I can’t let the horrific Fear Itself tie-ins keep me afraid of ever reading a tie-in ever again (lol the irony in thsi statement)

Hell I’m trying not to even watch the trailers to not ruin things but people at work are playing them on their PCs while I walk by, hard to avoid… :wasted:

Battle Scars is good? Will give it a read if so.
So this week-
Daredevil was amazing IMO. So it didn’t wrap up the harddrive story and element, big friggin’ whoop, to me this arc was about the characters, Spidey’s humor and the way he interacts with Punisher was hilariously entertaining.
FF#17 was random and hilarious, makes sense that all that weirdness would happen if Johnny, Ruler of the Negative Zone is your roomie XD.
Captain America & Hawkeye looks good, but…I prefer his superhero outfit. On the plus side, he’s fantastic in the EMH cartoon.
The Twelve wrapped up pretty well I guess, but…that’s the best you can do to Captain Wonder? Really?
Anyone else read Millar’s two new minis, Supercrooks and Secret Service?
I don’t know if all of Battle Scars was good, I just read the last issue because Marvel spoiled part of it early. I’ll either track down 1-5 or wait for the TPB to get the full story.

Over in that dimension that Fantomex was supposed to get assassinated in Psylocke made a deal with a demigod to save his life. In return Psylocke gave up all of her emotions. Later it turned out that her brother Jamie in the future was going to take out all of existence so Psylocke had to kill Jamie in the present, a parallel to Fantomex killing Baby Apocalypse earlier. A funeral for Jamie was held, everyone went home and emotionless Psylocke slept with Fantomex.
Age of Apocalypse Nightcrawler along with Wolverine and Deadpool went after Age of Apocalypse Iceman who was stuck in our world to kill him and AoA Nightcrawler did just that.

Ha on the newest episode of ABC’s Once Upon a Time, Henry was reading the first issue of Avengers vs. X-Men! Earlier in the season he was in a comic book store checking out Marvel comics. Dat Disney cross promotion yo!
