Nah. I would just wait till Hickman hops on. Read his Ultimate Thor in the meantime. The first two volumes of Ultimates is all you need.
I like this a lot. Hickman deeply dipping his hands into the Ultimate Universe. It can mean nothing but good.
The cover of Fear Itself #2 and solicits gave away the identities of the three of the evil hammer wielders but I was surprised at one of the ones they revealed within the comic. Uncanny X-Force was short and sweet this week too.
Thanks and an Ultimate Hawkeye mini is hype X3 I just hope he uses his original Ultimates design, that mask they gave him is…lame.

First off, what’re you guys thought on the latest X-Force? I thought this issue was lame and Mags’ request is pretty stupid IMO.
Moon Knight #1 was OK, but I didn’t like

USM is being renumbered again in September. Supposedly, it’ll be a new Spider-Man. I figured he might try to make a Spider-Man more in line with the up and coming animated series. We’ll see.

I mean how long has it been since the series was renumbered to 150? Either way let’s see how the series is going to continue X3
So I had a few issues of the prelude to the death of spiderman…amazingly the book is still good. How did all the rest of the ultimate universe get so screwed up. Last thing I read was ultimatum…ugh I think that was the worst comic read I’ve read in years.
Man U spiderman still seems pretty good. What ever happen to U FF it was great to?
X-men turned into days of our lives… The reboot doesn’t seem that bad tho.

X-force is currently my fav book. I thought the team shakeup would ruin things. But it has been great, honestly I feel like this is my chance to know Psylockes personality. Even knowing her background she never really had a identity or much of a personality to me.
Me I think it’s pretty clever but you need to read between the lines a little bit and know what’s going on with X-Men. For the cliff notes pick up the Uncanny X-Men .1 issue.

Basically, Magneto finds this Nazi (who I believe is from Magneto Testament but I don’t have the book near me right now) and it’s the wrong time for him because he is currently trying to improve his image with the public, to sell the idea of him being an X-Men. So he can’t kill a human now. Obviously Magneto can kill him with a thought if he wanted to but the timing is bad. So he sends Wolverine, and in return Magneto keeps the secret of X-Force’s existence.
It’s little subtleties like this that make me enjoy the book so. Redeemer is handling these characters and the Marvel Universe very well.
The whole Magneto good guy image I get, but that still doesn’t explain nor give him a reason to have some guy he may have never seen in over 40 years killed. If he can be forgiven why not this guy? Besides the guy was on the straight and narrow and lived a good and happy married life since WW2; on the one hand he may not deserve it because of what attrocities he’s done while he was a nazi, but even then the guy is at least 70 years old; he’d die eventually.
Plus why did Logan kill him with a katana? You’ve got claws, what fucking message are you getting by using a sword?
Sorry but I can’t seem to see this as being an interesting or smart story, but a poor attempt at showing dark shades to Magneto and Logan (in Logan’s case it’s still having shades of a heartless cold blooded killer who would kill defenseless people)

Just came to say, PRAISE THE LORD. JRJR is off the Avengers.

Magneto’s not one to forgive. If he forgave humanity for Nazis and World War II Magneto never would’ve been. He may seek forgiveness, but he’s not one to dish it out. Ever. Unless it serves a purpose for him (IE working with the X-Men now, but I don’t think he holds any serious grudges against fellow Mutants or his own kind really).
Don’t know what’s the big deal with Wolverine using a sword because it’s not the first time he’s used one while he had the claws and not the last. He probably didn’t want things traced back to him is all with X-Force still being a covert unit that even Cyclops doesn’t know about. Claw marks would be a dead give away, at least with Wolverine’s role. And once you start putting two and two together you could probably trace it back to Magneto too.
I thought the issue was important in that Wolverine is the one character most unmoved by their choices. He’s always staunch in respect to every person they have killed has been the right thing to do. This time he faces someone who has brought joy to the world in multiple ways despite past transgressions. In essence a reflection of Wolverine himself. The statement made by the former Nazi and the realization that Wolverine can’t keep X-Force a secret forever will weigh on him.
I will say that the issue was probably a bit muffled by Tan’s art. Being a book largely about the morality of killing people to protect the innocent it was successful in adding another shade of why and why not though.

Ultimate Spider-Man is going through the Death of Spider-Man arc right now. Peter was accidentally shot by the Punisher with a high caliber rifle and the Ultimate Six are after him due to a recent jailbreak.
Thor movie was great! Not Spider-Man 2 level but better than both of the Iron Man movies IMHO. I was surprised at one cameo in the movie.

The first guy that tries to life Mjolnir when it lands on the ground is JMS. I’m shocked he decided to show up in the movie. Isn’t he still mad about OMD and Siege? :looney: Ah well it was a nice surprise. 
I thought Cyclops knows about X-Force? Unless he somehow forgot during Dark Reign?
