About the “Three” teaser image :
Every site got a diffrent image with a diffrent character missing (FE ign got Johny missing)
so you can’t tell for now who it’s goanna be
Who is considered to be the top Captain America writer of all time?
like what Walter Simonson was for Thor
Brubaker because no one and I mean NO ONE cared about Captain America’s comic before him. At least in my lifetime. The Scourge story in the late '80s was pretty popular among some of my friends and family members though. I suppose the old Pre-Marvel Simon/Kirby stories have their own charm to them I guess because they were before Marvel was Marvel and all.

Keep buying it because it kicks ass. I haven’t sung my praises of this yet but rest assured I’m loving every bit of it. Marvel Cosmic, nothing better.
S.h.i.e.l.d #2 = a.w.e.s.o.m.e.!.!.!.!
Wish I could find a place that purchased 1-300 variant comics. My TE stick buyer fell through. This comic my only chance!
I picked up Old Man Logan last week. A lot of silliness packed with some awesome most of despair.
VENOMSAURUS REX ROFL!
Damn straight.
But now we are back to the dreaded waiting game.
Edit: Meanwhile, I also picked up Avengers Academy and Young Allies today. I feel Young Allies was the better book, but I am guessing that is mainly because I know the characters in that book better then the ones created for Academy.
Who are all kind of jerks except for Mettle.
That reminds me of All Star Superman and JMS’ Thor, you know that next issue is going to deliver the goods but you dont know when it’s going to come out
Just read Spider-Man: Blue, the retelling of how Gwen and Peter came to be. It was pretty dope, especially since I didn’t really read ASM when Gwen was around. I don’t know who I like better MJ or Gwen.
In 616, M.J. is better. In 1610. Gwen is better.
Speaking of which, USM has finally gotten good again since the last three issues. The art is still whatever but the story has picked up. Shame too, because after Loeb fucked everything up Bendis had a prime chance to show people what the Ultimate universe is all about after the imprint relaunch. Instead he just got really sloppy for the first eight issues. Even threw two issue filler in there, ugh. Oh well, he’s doing better again. Hope it stays that way.
Oh, and Ultimate Avengers is still good. Haven’t bothered reading anything else in the line though.
X-Men Second Coming this week, OH DAMN… :wow:
XSC10 lazy abbreviation time lol
Spoiler
Hope got mad at Cyclops for sending Cable on a suicide mission and her eyes started to glare up red. Cyke noticed that it was the same red glare he always has. Now we’ve been suspecting that Hope is really Jean Grey reborn, but could it be that she is somehow / someway the daughter of Cyke and Jean Grey, IE this reality’s version of Rachel Summer? That would be AWESOME! Of course this can all be a red herring. Guess we gotta keep reading to see.
Just read Thanos Imperative (Ignition and #1) and holy shit at Quasar being alive. What was the story arc that had the Cosmic Cube? Infinity Watch don’t like Thanos? Man I’m so behind.
Quasar is alive for quite some time lol, you should read the Realm of Kings one shot
I haven’t read TI #1 i should get it on wednsday
What comics should I read before getting into House of M?
New Avengers from the start until it gets to House of M and that’s kind of it.
But IMHO you shouldn’t read House of M. It’s horrible. All you have to know about House of M is Scarlet Witch said “No more Mutants,” reduced the Mutant population via magic and Wolverine got all of his memories back. And THAT’S IT. Nothing else from the story ever gets referenced AT ALL. All though it’s a hella unpopular story and unpopular stories don’t get referenced too much anyway.
Well I suppose you should read House of M for yourself and form your own opinion. Some people in this forum liked it.
You should take the opportunity to read Astonishing X-Men. It happens before House of M (now during a 2 week period lol) and it RULES! There’s nothing in the book that makes it mandatory for you to read it before HOM but it occurs before the Mutant population gets reduced. And this is where Wolverine’s MVC3 outfit comes from if that gives you an extra incentive. For me it had a very rough start but it gets SOOOOO much better after the first 7 or so issues. The Omnibus has gone down, it used to be $100 and now you can find it for $50 at Amazon.
Awesome

Also returning with Incognito are the exclusive Pulp magazine essays by Jess Nevins, Professor of pulp history, only available in the single issues of Incognito
@Sano- House of M was drawn by Oliver Coipel IIRC, so that’s one reason to give it a read at least…assuming you like Coipel’s art ^_^;
I heard HoM was dope so I’m planning on getting it. But mainly because I was told the events of HoM lead to Civil War, so I kinda want to go through the timeline that lead to all these events.
I do feel like I need to catch up on X-Men as well, since they WERE important in the Marvel U (Avengers is the main team now right?). Like I need to know what happened to Jean and how the hell did White Queen join the X-Men. I didn’t even know about Emma joining until I read the tie in X-Men issues to Civil War.
I just saw the Spider-Woman motion comics on Hulu too. Shits dope. Plan on watching Astonishing X-Men on there as well.
Speaking of which, I’ve been catching eps of Wolverine and The X-Men in the morning before I go to work. I’m surprised that it’s done pretty well (wasn’t a fan of X-Men Evolution). Gives me a comic show to watch after the NBA Finals are done esp since they are NOT going to make anymore eps of Spectacular Spider-Man
^For Jean and Emma Frost…read Grant Morrison’s New X-Men run >_>;
