Finally caught up in Marvelness, and I have to say, Amazing might be the best book currently on the market. Dear God, the last issue was brilliant. JMS = one of the best Spidey writers of all time.

Also checked out Ellis’ Newuniversal HC. It wasn’t too bad just kind of predictable in some parts. I did love how salvador showed a hollywood face for each of the main characters.
New X-men was BOMB a great ending to the magik arc.

Just watched Dr.Strange. Movie was the first Marvel film that I didn’t fall asleep watching. Still not as good as any of DC’s animated features.

Ultimate Spider-Man 111-112 were dope. Bagley’s replacement art is top tier. I like his style.

Stuff I read recently.
Wolverine Origins - It was pretty funny because they told the story of how Wolverine met Captain America again and even reprinted the story where they met in the old Claremont/Lee comic. It was funny because in the newer version (dialog was more or less the same) you couldn’t see Wolverine smoking, his right arm was off camera as he was standing to the side talking to Cap. Later in the newer version, they added an extra line of dialog where Wolverine coughed to indicate he was smoking. Seriously, WHAT THE HELL MARVEL LET WOLVERINE SMOKE ! A kid picks up this comic, he looks at the old Claremont/Lee version reprinted he sees Wolvie smoke, what’s the difference? Man I say give Wolverine back his cigars and his Harley. If a kid starts smoking and gets cancer along with riding his motorcycle without a helmet because he idolizes Wolverine and he doesn’t understand he has an Adamantium Skeleton along with cancer that kid deserves to die GGPO. :badboy:
Other than all of that it was a good issue. For ONCE I could tell when Wolverine Origins was going on, I was swearing Wolverine was a Skrull in this comic. :looney:
New X-Men - Magic stuff was great. Endangered Species… again with the whole oh noos these people did some messed up stuff years ago I can’t believe it man they sure like to do that a lot in X-Men…
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man - TOO FUNNY! JJJ was hilarious! I was cracking up when he told Robbie’s family “You people need new writers.” when they kept saying the same thing over and over again, because the Spidey franchise is about to get new writers! 
There were funny moments all over the place. The confrontation between JJJ and Spidey was great! Ending with what’s got to be one of JJJ’s funniest lines EVER!

[details=Spoiler]During Robbie and JJJ’s conversation Spidey crept in and drank a bit from the wine bottle JJJ put out for them. He left a note on the glass saying thanks from your “F.N.S.M.” Of course F.N.S.M. stands for “Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” and JJJ’s final line in the book was -
“I hate that F.N. Spider-Man!”

Picked up Amazing Spider-Man this week.
Great issue. This issue felt very real and was more Peter Parker based than Spider-man. It leads straight into One More Day.
Also picked up Astonishing X-men. The title seems to have lost a bit of steam coming into the closing stretch. I hope it picks up in the final 2 issues.
Yeah I liked it too. If felt more like Spider-Man than that stranger to my eyes anyway that was in the rest of the Back in Black ASM arc.
Sensational Spider-Man was really good too. The very last page, I wish that was the true ending to One More Day but fat chance…

They show Peter growing old with Mary Jane and they have 2 kids, Benjamin and Mary. It ends off with saying ‘for now let us say this is how the story ends.’ Really good read and a look back at Spidey’s life with people he’s helped over the years. Amazing artwork too, High School Liz looked really hot lol! Oh and the man upstairs, the All Mighty himself appears in the story to guide Peter ha ha! Fun read.
i loved the wolvie origins book, that clarement/lee addition was just icing on the cake. i’m pretty sure i have that shit somewhere in my crib, from when i first got into comics as a young pup.

Man I pre-ordered a bunch of books this week and I just realized they forgot to toss in X-Men 202… I need to read Endangered Species I just know Spiral has the cure I can feel it! Sarcasm…
And yeah I wasn’t aware I missed Mystic Arcana Black Knight last month, off to the comic shop…
Speaking of, I liked the Halo comic alot. They really captured how the weapons and vehicles look in Halo, I felt like I was at home playing the game. A lot more action than Bendis usually does so that’s a good thing. A bit of comedy in there too Bendis style.
Only gripe, what was up with Master Chief tossing 3 grenades at once? You can’t do that in Halo 2. Will you be able to do that in Halo 3? Eh I’m sure 12 year olds will still beat my ass online and tell me they had relations with my momma like always.
