And what worse, that bullet was ultra phased by the help of, what, every psychic in the marvel universe, some of which were dead or depowered at the time? I smell a retcon.

LOL when they asked JQ when Whedon’s Astonishing run took place, he said before Messiah CompleX. No duh really? Like how vague can you get. 
Endangered Species referenced some of the stuff in Astonishing regarding Cyke’s powers. So I’m guessing before that too. Just a guess though. They kinda just let Whedon do whatever he wanted to.
Whedon’s run turned out good in the end anyways, I still reread it despite the ending,

Only read about 1/2 of Spider-Man Family so far, the Spider-Girl story which is always great and the Petey story by FRED HEMBRECK! He did all of those Marvel Ages comic strips a LOOONG time ago! The story took place when Peter Parker was just a little kid. JJJ had all black hair and FOSWELL was still around! Brother Voodoo as a little tyke! Hella great story, it was drawn like a comic strip and all but it took me back to the old Marvel Ages days. Pretty cool! 
Forgot to mention but in the last week’s Wolverine, the Spidey/Wolvie bar story was a really nice one. :tup:
I’ve tried getting into Captain Britain, but it’s just not doing it for me. I went out and grabbed all the issues, but the Vampire State story is the only one that’s barely holding my interest.
I guess I just can’t get invested enough in the characters.
(Admittedly, though, it’s not a good idea to read other comics for 24 hours after Invincible 63…)
