Umm Sano I take it you’re not reading X-Men Legacy? Because Xavier’s soul search and how he’s been redeeming himself/clearing up the errors he did in his past years was very entertaining.
is that why he joins dark x-men? to redeem himself?
This is the part that I’ve been wondering about: If you read X-Men Legacy you’ll see that Xavier attempting to make up for his past mistakes.
His inclusion to this new X-Men faction could have Fraction omitting the stuff Xavier had done during Legacy. That or Xavier is on the team to make sure it doesn’t do anything…he would’ve done 
Also, just cuz it’s called Dark X-Men doesn’t mean they’re…evil.
I just call this Emma’s faction/team. For what ever reason Xavier is on it, we’ll know during the series.
I say Dark X-men is Emma’s version of Scott’s X-Force in a sense.
I’ve been strictly buying X-books through trade paperbacks to save money, so i definitely can’t wait for that arc to hit.
Dark Avengers seems like an inferior version of the Thunderbolts, though i have to say Ares pimp smacking Bulleye was too funny. Bullseye stay getting his ass whupped by stronger people.
Lol we had this conversation already. Yes I’m reading it, for the second time? Legacy does not change that Proffesor X has been a douche bag at times, simply because the story does not involve a time machine. Some people forgive him, - Wolverine, Rogue, - but Cyclops, the most important X-Men member to him will not. Neither will his own step brother, even if he didn’t really do anything wrong to Juggernaut. Proffesor X has to deal with it, except whatever he did in the past he felt was right at the time and move on. Joining up with Norman is a step in the wrong direction IMHO, but it will put him against Cyclops so it’s cool. Makes for a fun comic.

As usual if I see stuff I’ll just edit. SRK’s new rule for spoilers only applies to TV shows. Please don’t spoil the comic if you get it a few days early however. Wait at least a week or so before discussing it openly. However if JQ blabs on CNN again well… Use your best judgement I guess.

Oh I didn’t mean you said a week, that’s the usual practice with the bigger stuff. Will play it by ear I suppose. So far nothing on the morning news unlike Captain America #25. Was so pissed when that was ruined for me just because I was trying to get the day’s weather. :bluu: I guess it was cool hearing newscasters talk about comics, but still.

I’ll see how Fraction handles Xavier in this series. I like how Xavier is starting his new life attempting to do better than what he has done before Messiah CompleX

Yeah I think Xavier’s doing what he thinks is right. It brings up the question, is Professor X still needed as a Mutant leader or are his philosophies outdated and is he past his prime? Should he step back and let Cyclops 2.0 (AKA the one with balls lol) handle things or is Cyke going about things the wrong way and that’s why X has to hang with Norman? Hmm… Could be interesting.

Wow, I’m behind on the xmen. Can anybody just give me a brief synopsis? I stopped reading after Grant Morrison’s run on new x-men.
Shot over to Midtown comics during lunch, had just enough time. No crowds for 600, so far it seems cool. Read about 1/2 the issue. It starts off with a reprint of the Ross / Dini mini CA origin story if you missed that before, I think it was in that CA Red White and Blue book. Then the story starts flowing in multiple parts. Guess I gotta wait until after I leave work to read the rest. Won’t say anything more than this. Everyone go check it man you won’t regret it.
Crazy lady Scarlet Witch said “No more Mutants” and made it so via magic - there’s only about 200 Mutants left since she depowered lots of them. Magneto came back but he currently has no powers. Mutants are not being born due to Scarlet Witch’s spell. Only one red haired and green eyed female baby was born named “Hope” who Cable is protecting. The X-Men moved to San Francisco. This is as brief as I can get…
RoninChaos- A good starting point if you want to get back into the current X-Men stuff is Messiah CompleX, since it sets up much of the recent series and stories in the X-Books.
