damn good reads
 Excellent selection mate. How do you find Thor so far? I personally think it’s good, but slow pacing somewhat, yet the dialog is very well written.
well thats not all
yesterday i read daredevil, kickass, wolverine and magneto: testament (and hulk… ya i read hulk)
i love thor, straczynski has got the mystic comics down pat
either its his “mystic spider shaman” spiderman origin or silver surfer requiem (which is still one of my top 5 comic stories of all time), you just know what you are getting with thor
excellent writing, especially if you enjoy norse mythos and hammer-things-to-shit action
and its nice for loki to get some more backstory in, i loved how he sliced up his dad

Cable and Punisher issues this week are goood. Love to read my comics at my comic job. By the way X-men Manifest issue 5 is a printing error instead the interiors are xmen spidey number 3 next weeks issue.
lol, Hudlin is writing the new B. Panther series, and it seems the new one will be a different character each time.
Alright, peeps here is what I read recently-
Invincible Ironman #9
[details=Spoiler]Tony decides to format his brain so that Norman will not get the data that Tony stored in himself. Norman informs the press that Tony and Maria are wanted.
Tony tells Pepper that she is now the CEO of Stark Enterprises.[/details]
Dead of Night- Werewolf by night #1 was a pretty good first issue, explaining the origins of the main character. Ending was pretty interesting.
Punisher #1
[details=Spoiler]Frank tries to kill Osborn via a Sniper, but Sentry stops the bullet. He flies towards Frank’s location and tries to capture him, but Frank tricks Sentry into thinking that he’ll blow up a Hospital. Now the casual reader will see this as an obvious bluff, but the Sentry isn’t taking his chances with Frank with what crazy stuff he’s done over the year.
Anyway, Frank buys some time to escape, but during his early encounter, he got severly wounded. Sentry tracks him down, but with some help from an unknown indvidual, Frank manages to escape from Sentry.
Issue also contains a ‘saga’ of the stuff that have happened over the years with Frank. The fact that he teamed up with the Power Pack is very scary…
Decent first issue IMO.
Looks like Sentry is Osborn’s ‘Friend’[/details]
X-Men Noir #2 was good, we get introduced to more characters
and Jean’s killer is revealed as
Spoiler
Logan
So that’s what the printing error was. Thanks!
a punisher book that is full of win not written by ennis? i still can’t believe it
Matt Fraction’s Punisher is actually quite good. It’s a completely different Punisher from Ennis’, but as far as integrating the Punisher into the Marvel Universe, Fraction’s series is probably about as good as it can be done outside of a Punisher guest appearance in a Daredevil story.
All I have to say is War of Kings is looking nice.
It is a difficult task to get Punisher to work within the confines of the regular Marvel universe by himself. I couldn’t blame Fraction because outside of that horrible and brief period he was dressed as fake Cap, he did a fairly decent and gritty job.
After getting spoiled by Ennis’ MAX work, it’s tough to accept that Frank Castle can exist in a world with supermen. When integrating him with the rest of the Marvel Universe, he seems to work best when he’s in an intentionally humorous story (like the Marvel Knights series) or when interacting with Daredevil.
I thought it was kind of awkward when Punny showed up in Civil War. His role seemed kind of unnecessary, and I still can’t stand those white gloves and white boots! And then when Fraction had him team-up with the former supervillain at the beginning of War Journal, I wasn’t sure what he was doing. But it seems to have worked out pretty well. I haven’t read the most recent issues of it, but some of those Howard Chaykin issues in the mid- and late-teens were very well done.
chaykin art = insta fail
I just master baited you.
