To clarify on my hypocrisy statement (and this doesn’t directly apply to everyone):
In virtually all of these posted news stories there is a transgressor who humiliates, degrades, or assaults a victim. The demographics of both the transgressor and the victim seem to have a strong effect on the overall tone of the thread.
In this case, the man was the transgressor and a woman the victim, hence you get posts like this:
Now I realize that many of you are trolling, but I find it funny how well accepted and liked statements like this seem to be. And yet, if the opposite of these statements were made in regards to degrading men by women, the response would have been extremely different. So it’s ok to troll as a misogynistic pig, but not as a feminazi. I feel I’m more than qualified to make that statement as I feel I’ve personally demonstrated it in multiple threads.
If the roles were reversed and a woman did something similar to a man for partaking in some form of erotic media the comments being made would most likely be far different.
