This is my first try at making a template,i downloaded gimp today and just messed around.would like some input on if my sizing is correct i used the original template from the start of the thread for madcatz TE
I just started using gimp and i have figured out how to do a lot of things using this thread and google searching, but iām really having trouble with this one thing. I hate to ask because iām sure itās stupid easy but iām getting a big frustrated now.
I downloaded one of d3vs templates and deleted the art and kept what i needed, one of the things being the āArcade Fightstickā and āTournament Editionā labels. Well, i just canāt for the life of me figure out how to edit them. Primarily i want to change the text on Tournament Edition to āSmokingSickStyle Editionā and compress the text a bit to keep it the same lenght, but i want to keep the same font. How do i do this on gimp? And how do i change the text color too? Thanks!

Although, I have a orange bubble top on my stick as opposed to the black.
Very nice, despite the fact that I didnāt make that for full panel layouts.
But wouldnāt a red bubble top work out better?
Youāll have to register with an imageshack account (and permanently logged in) and everything should be fine. But yeah, itās quite a bother

First design idea. Probably going to be critiqued as ātoo much going onā, but I figure I can consider this a first version. Thing near the turbo panel is an identifying mark. Presently plan on using white buttons and battop with this.
Tone down the colours of the background and that should be fine.

Iāve been wondering where I could find the PS3ās button layout, like /\ [_] O X R1 R2 L1 L2 to add them on my theme so it can be completed for once and for all? Would be very appreciated.
I got my template finished. I just need to print it out. Since this is my first time, I have no clue in what direction to go. What do I convert the PSD file to? What program can I use? All tips are welcome.
you donāt convert a psd, you just Save As and chose PNG or JPG highest quality, and print it in Legal Size paper aka 8.5" by 14" in a decently good paper, not the regular one, its written somewhere in this thread.
If you search around this thread or some of the others dealing with stick art youāll find a photoshop custom brush to use, ill see if i can post it up later, iāll give ya a png since i found those brushes to be annoying to work withā¦probably because i donāt know jack about photoshop lol
Plexi for the chun li TE
Hey I wanna put plexi over my chun li TE. This is the link to the plexi I think should fitā¦ in the FAQ art sez it should be fine but i was curious if anyone has tried to put a plexi over the lenticular graphic before.
