Lightning Attack got faster and longer, Lightning Storm no longer is as awesome for DHCs, and Hail Storm got replaced by Cirno’s Ice Sign ~ Icicle Fall (Easy).

I know right. Everybody so desperate to see them nerfed, but it just means some other character is gonna be over powered and exploited. I dunno why people don’t seem to get this.
Im just really hoping the guys using Mags and Storm just dunno what they are doing and theres a way to up the tempo a bit with those two. Admittedly, Storm does look very good so far, happy with what I am seeing.

this thread makes me sad for the fighting game community, and none of you know what your talking about. its a shame your hype for such a shitty looking version of storm because you were so scared of her in mvc2. her trailer is pure trash and doesnt even at the very least display her movement capabilities. shes slow for what? cause of scrubs whining, as if currently x23, chun li, and iron man arent going to be shoving their attacks down your throat on february 15th. then it will be a new age of whining. magneto might have some type of promise maybe, but they seem to just crapped all over storm.
no one should be hype for this storm other then her suit being pretty. she looks like a direct result of scrub hate, as does magneto too actually. only time will tell, but wow mvc3. its like that. a big LOL to people saying, yeah, she looks like she can still rushdown, and her zoning looks good. lmao. this is gold, because i have no idea what your seeing at all.
The game engine will definently change how she is played as well as people who complained about her and mags being too powerful.
These trailers are a pretty poor example of the potential of the characters, but I’m hoping that it’s because of the lack of skill of the players using them. I hope that when more skilled players can get the time and practice in with both storm and mag they will look much better than the trailers make them seem.
So far mags looks kinda like a joke.
Look who’s talking… Right now her air dash looks like one of the fastest in the game, and we’ve only seen it used twice in a practically useless situation, so you’ve got just as little clue as what you’re talking about as everyone else…

Put it like this… Morrigan, Trish and Amaterasu are doing just fine as far as speed and mobility. Storm is just as fast and mobile if not more than these other 3 ladies.
We havent even seen triangle dashing at this point. MvC3 overall is a slower game. Lets not get carried away.

I don’t think dude actually read the thread, there has been a couple people including myself that have commented on her speed.
Any nerf to Storm and Mags is a direct consequence of lesser players complaining so jimmy definitely does have a point there to be fair.
Nobody knows what she can really do yet, but she is aesthetically pleasing at least which is always a good start.

Well I hate to be a bandwagon bitch but Storm is essentially my type of character. Sue me for picking a team without being fully convinced that shes in the game. I really like what I see from Storm right now.
