No, someone reported the NEC chipset did not fix his issues pages back.
Via or intel chipsets only.
Thank you. How is it working for you? I see some reviews mentioning data corruption and other issues.
To be honest, I havent used it for anything other than mame and the TE, and for that purpose it has been flawless.
I can do a test run of 400gbās of data to an externa hard drive, and report back if any issues creep up.
Ill set the transfer tonight before I goto bed, and report back in the am.
Is the Dynex USB card worth getting if itās not vista compatible, Iām running Windows7 so I can only assume it would have the same issues?
Maybe itās an idea to sticky this thread? Or implement the 1st post into the officiel madcatz fightpad/stick stickied topicā¦would stop a lot of people from asking.
anyone find an Expresscard version with a via chipset?
Am I the only one who wants this to work on a laptop? ⦠Itās my desktop thatās outdated and old⦠My laptop is the only one that can run SF4 properly.
And my brotherās desktop doesnāt have any PCI slots so heās not letting me install one in.
No, youāre not the only one. However, I gave up on this a long time ago.
For me, MAME is just not that important any more.
There are other options but it always involves more money. In the meanwhile, try http://www.motioninjoy.com/, so you can at least use SIXAXIS or Dualshock 3 on the laptop.
Nope, no data corruption issues transferring a 400gb image file. CRC and bit count check out.
Great, thanks for checking!
i want to buy a sf4 te stick ps3 version for my pc windows xp.
I went to play n trade and the guy told me he doesnt know if ps3 te stick will work on pc but he told hes sure that the xbox360 version will work without a problem since its microsoft.
now he still said the ps3 version might work perfectly but he doesnt guaranteeso⦠did anyone ever try the ps3 version on there pc ( windos xp ) did you get any problems?
Sure is not reading the thread around here.
While I try to be as helpful as can beā¦
sigh youre a 100% right.
:wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder::wonder:
Previously I plugged my TE PS3 into one of the USB slots and it worked fine now a week later I try to use it and nothing happens I am using the same USB slot but the computer does recognize it but the buttons are unresponsive, it is very strange :xeye:.
Just to let you know, this does work (Another Confirmation):

It was posted earlier in the thread by some other forum poster. Anyway I have an EVGA 780i Motherboard (NForce) on Windows XP 32 Bit Home Edition FYI.
However, I did run into some trouble getting it to work. I guess thatās the problem with buying a cheap ass PCI USB Card. My EVGA 780i kept on seeing the PCI Card as āmalfunctionedā and ānot installed correctlyā. Afterwards, I connected my PCI Card to a different computer running on an ASUS Motherboard to check if it was functioningā¦and it was. Out of luck, I tried reconnecting the PCI Card to my EVGA 780i and it worked! Weird, huh? I really donāt know what fixed the card. :wonder:
wow they still havenāt fixed this? glad I bought an HRAP3 and sold my se. Madcatz will never fool me again
Did it fit easily? One reviewer says he has trouble fitting it in the socket.
It worked fine for me. Iām running a Nvidia 680i board. No problems fitting it in.
Yup, there were no problems fitting it into my EVGA 780i. The socket is standard PCI. (NOT EXPRESS BTW!) It was only some compatibility issuesā¦that eventually fixed itself out.
I had some weird issues with it running under Windows XP, and then I installed the drivers that came on the disk. It sorted everything out. Itās automatically detected, but I recommend installing the drivers that came with the card.
I just formatted and installed Windows 7. Havenāt had the opportunity to try out the stick yet, but Iāll do it tonight. I donāt anticipate any issues, however. Iāll report back in for anyone whoās curious.
