I also have a 680i motherboard with the same problem. No inputs detected.
plugged in my pcmcia via chip and it works like a charm.
Seems nvidia chipsets are definitely an issue
I have a EVGA 790i SLI FTW Mobo and it wonāt work for me as well.
Running Vista 64, shows up when plugged in, and āinstalls driversā and says itās working but nothing registers.
the buttons work but not the joystick on the MAME emulator, wtf!!!
You canāt use XPadder or Joy2Key to remap the stick? Thatās what I did when I had my HFS3.
the what,what? :S
With the toggle switch set to digital pad, the stick movement is actually registered as POV hat movement by PC and not joystick X-Y axes movement as you would normally expect. You will most likely need to make sure that MAME is set to use the POV hat movement as commands by going into the config screen. I have the latest version of MAMEUI, and it is working fine with the SE once I told it what joystick inputs are to be used. Older versions of MAME may not let you set POV hat movement as commands, and you might also have to download a newer version that lets you do it.
ughhh bump
Mine works fineā¦ ive got an Abit motherboardā¦ not completely sure what chipset, but its not nVidia.
i think its intel to be honest. Vista 64 bit.
my ps3 TE works better than my xbox TE stick though. even though it doesnt make any difference.
Is there any update on a fix coming from MadCatz? Honestly, Iād rather not spend money on something that I shouldnāt have to. As of right now, Iāve got a $100 paperweight since I bought the stick exclusively for PC use.
why do you people ask the same qestions why dont you read my results, therwes nothing to do with what cpu you are using but the motherboard chipset,
my solution was to buy a cheap usb pci card with a via chipset.
if i waited for drivers or some nutty professor fix i would of had my 2 te sticks in there box since sf4 launched.
lol anyway pc users will be getting the definate version of sf4 meaning there spending the time to make it worth the wait.
enjoy folks
>_> Can you not use XPadder or Joy2Key to remap the joystick (Up, down, left, right) itself? Thatās what I did when I had a Hori Fighting Stick 3 that gave the same problem.
That better? @_@

Guys just buy that and be done with it
I mean Iām not, since it works on my laptopā¦ but my tower runs games faster. I can wait for drivers. Those of you that canāt, however, just buy that.
Iād be nice to hear from MarkMan on the status of the solution. Iād get a cheap PCI USB card but I canāt seem to find any for under $20 in Canada. I mean really, MadCatz has known about the issue for about a month now. It should be about time that they released a fix.
well i have a ps3 te stick and windows xp sp3 and it worked twice. it didt work at first but when i restarted my computer it worked try to shut it down or restart
i have the SE stick and it works on my laptop with Windows 7 flawlesslyā¦just plug n playā¦
will there be a version (a 3rd one beside PS3ās and XBOXās) for PC from MadCatz when SF4 for PC will be launched ?? iām honestly not up for bying one and having trouble with it ā¦ even if after that it works.
My PS3 SE fightstick does not work on my XP-64bit. Reads it, but buttons does not register.
Well i have a non working T.E stick. Last night i tried to use one of those drivers to get ps3 controllers working on my laptop. I installed the drivers perfectly and followed the instructions however it did exactly the same as my Fightstick, the dualshock controller wouldnāt even workā¦ Windows will recgonize it but not buttons would register, same as the fightsick. I canāt see this fault ever being fixed with a driver, some feed back at all from madkatz would be nice on this issue mind.
