It’s funny, I know you guys find me crazy, but I actually don’t go gah gah over Betty, she seems too cookie cutter “Susie Homemaker” type of hot. But this episode she was ravishing. No Lie.
It’s funny how I could tell that the caretaker was German before she even spoke. She was so cute.
What a small world world eh? I guess they had to write in Joan some way and crossing hairs with Pete was definitely a brilliant and scary move considering his shiftiness. I don’t think he’s going to do anything about it though, at least, I hope not.
I think those Italian dudes were pissed off even acting the scene, knowing that Draper/ John Hamm was going to get feel in a later screen. (I’m sure they read through the script lol) The whole setup was brilliant.

I liked the part where Betty is on the phone with the OTHER GUY, and she shakes Dons drawers, only to find them locked (which she expected).
Such a subtle, awesome touch.
Well for once Betty was actually written like some adult. But of course latter on she devolves back into her true form as cry baby. Wahhh, wahhh. Honestly no more Betty this season. Maybe an affair, but please no more of what she wants.
This show needs to stick to the office! Business, business, business is meat and potatoes. What will they do with Joan??? The show really has no development left. Everyone’s job is safe. Draper got bought. Everyone is back to their routine. Might as well call next show Season 4.

Oh and I loved the scene with the nanny and Betty, showed just how closed off Betty is from the world. That nanny has a keen eye too… heh.
But damn, Peggy was MIA for 98% of the episode.

I think Don’s reaction to Salvatore’s plight was realistically disdainful for the time period. I’m starting to think his empathy goes only as far as acknowledging need for one’s need to keep secrets, not really because he has moral imperatives.

Her figure is way underrated for one thing. I mean with Joan walking around (or even Betty, depending on what you’re into) she’s easy to overlook, but there have been a couple scenes where I was just like :wow: for a second.

i think don’s tolerant to things that don’t have any real effect on his life. he was fine with sal being a homosexual until it interfered with his work, in some way he thinks that sal has been flaunting it i think (at least enough for the cigarette guy to notice anyway) so he’s perturbed.

Cheating to Don is like Wilson to House, I think it will get him back on his game. I mean, he’s on his game, but something is off. I have a feeling next week, Sterling is going to show his true colors and try and strongarm Don out of the company or get him in trouble.

I was thinking about the situation that Harry was in, there was really nothing he could have done. He had no authority to fire Sal and if he went to Don or Pete about it, he would have pissed off the client anyways. The best he could have done is told Sal not to be at the meeting, and even that could have blown up in his face.

and yeah there is def something about to happen between roger and don, kinda sucks bcuz roger used to be a really fun character now he’s this assholish figure.
My guess is that they’re going to depict his anger are redirected passion from his (currently unknown) premarital woes. His fiancee is a friggin’ dingbat.
It’s sad that I’m getting numb from Draper’s constant infidelity, but yeah Betty is a few LSD trips away from a total psychosis.
Oh and about Peggy, if the show wasn’t crawling with voluptuous women and all sorts of models-turned-actors, you’d all recognize Peggy as that cute girl you’d be fantasizing about banging in the storage closet at your job.
