[details=Spoiler] That laugh Hollis had at the end, pretty much wrapped up how much of an deluded and pretentious asshole Pete is.
-The teacher sounded so high when she was on the phone, was it really that easy to get girls back then? (Oh and I recognize her as the girl from the Twix ad that the guy tries to woo back to his apartment.
-The way they treated the pregnancy was pretty realistic considering how much drugs are used during those procedures.
-BTW, do you guys think the prison guard’s wife had some complication which is why the husband just wheelchair’d past Don without even a glance?[/details]
The best part of the episode was how Peggy finally and openly admitted that she’s wants to be King.
That whole story point was great, because Pete’s “uncle” caught me by surprise. And then later in the episode you could see what Peggy was really asking for.
edit: Also, Peggy was giving off Pete vibes during her conversation with Draper. I thought she might try to strongarm him like Pete did at the end of the first season.
Betty pretty much ruined this show. I can’t tell you how much I hate this character. There is a reason the most beautiful woman on this show is playing this character its because its so bad!!!

Why didn’t she just fucking die? This character is killing the show! The prison guard was going on how he doesn’t bring his work home with him. It the opposite with Don who the best part of his life is his job. He hates his life, his kids, and its all because of betty.
Someone please tell me what the fuck they are going to do with betty? I can’t stand it anymore. Tell me Don is going to leave this family, anything!
I would comment on the rest of the show, but betty pretty much ruined it. It might as well have never happened.
i don’t dislike betty that much actually…i mean she’s definitely somewhat batshit insane, but it’s not entirely her fault. don really does cheat on her all the time, so it’s not like she has no cause for concern on that front. and on the other front she’s been seen as a dumb, pretty girl that can’t do anything (her father said as much to her daughter) so she has that set of insecurities to deal with as well.
Betty’s vapid personality is exactly what you’d expect of a pretty woman with privilege at that time period, just add a tinge of insanity and solitude to the mix.
lmao holy shit at the last episode. if i was jon hamm i’d have been pushing for the joan sex scene just to feel up on those tit-tays…that said, they CANNOT let her leave the show.
Last two shows have been really fun. The john deere scene was just so fun. And the god damn brits are so vicious. Don like damn its not that bad is it? Yeah, yeah it is…
So tonight episode had a bearable betty. I don’t know where they’re going with Sterling and Draper but seems to be a nemesis match up! Really need to see season 1.

sterling cooper just got a hell of a lot more interesting though, that’s for damn sure.

[details=Spoiler] I liked the whole Tarentino~esque approach to the whole episode, I had a feeling that Peggy was going to get shagged by the former Sterling Cooper associate but then dismissed it because he looked way to young, onlyto be shocked when he was the guy. Dude’s in shape. (no homo)
Don must’ve really done some heavy stuff in his heyday because his immunity to hard liquor mixed with barbiturates is amazing. I knew that were planning something the moment he was in that hotel.

That teacher seems to be too experienced with the “procedures”, methinks she ain’t so straight in the brain.
Amazing episode. I loved it. I love how they shot it and i loved how they executed it. Cooper’s “Who’s really signing this anyways?” line was by far one of my favorites of the season.
