From what I understand, the Pete falling down GIF was up before the episode was over. I don’t think I hate Pete as much as you guys do.

Pete is still the best business man in the firm, but even I, the biggest support of Pete in the world can no longer stand by him being so bitch made.
I’m not sure about Pete being the best businessman. He has an uncanny knack for seeing through people’s bullshit and making speeches that should put them in their place, but he’s so petulant and unsure of himself that it never comes off.
Don would be the best businessman, except that he doesn’t really play the game unless he’s safe whether he wins or loses. While that makes him the best businessman in the universe of Don Draper, his less-fortunate associates get understandably upset when he plays with their future.
For all his inaction and tendency to get played for laughs, Burt is probably the best businessman at SCDP. He’s the one guy who has unflinchingly based his logic on the good of the company.
Roger’s a wildcard, but his tactics are damn fun to watch.

He was the only one working last season. He got them their car, got Vicks, and whatever crap I forget that happened.
I dunno if I’d give Pete credit with Jaguar for just being scummy enough to entertain the thought of pimping out Joan, unless I’m forgetting some other contribution. Plus I don’t really think that SCDP is void of good business men in Pete’s absence. In addition to goodies thoughts on Burt and Roger, Ken is generally solid too, just not as high profile as the partners. Same with Harry.
Are all you guys just withholding judgment on Mr suck up? Who knows what that smarmy fuck is up to but he seems to have potential to be even wacker than Pete.
Yeah, I was going to say, Joan pretty much deserves credit for Jaguar, and Lane deserves some too.
Pete got Vick’s basically through nepotism, and lost Vick’s for the same reason.

He is just going to be Pete but he will kill people with kindness. So maybe Ken with Pete’s ambition.
He’s a pete in that his patronizing is blatant, but he’ confident and patient enough to wait for the right moment to strike- sneaky snake style.
Ken is underrated on all fronts and like I said before, he seems to be the only guy at SCDP who’s figured out how to maintain a balanced work/home life. (Afaik)
We don’t really know much about Burt’s home life. I just haven’t figured out why they introduced his character yet. There’s got to be a reason, and a reason they keep sprinkling him in to episodes. I don’t know what it is yet though, but i have a feeling it’s sinister.
We know that he and Roger knew each other as kids, we know that he has no testicles as a result of a surgery mishap, and it has been hinted that the doctor involved met with a bad end under mysterious circumstances.
From this, we can conclude that Burt Cooper is pure evil.

ken is my favorite dude. from the get go i most identified with him. he seems laid back and i agree, fuck being a partner if it means getting down with that kind of bs.
joan pissed was hot. awesome. and totally righteous. but on the other hand…isn’t it nice they no longer have to deal with that douche?
