M.bison USF4 , any Rumors of buff/nerf changes?

I don’t think there will be a new balance patch persay. There should be a patch to fix the bugs in the game, but I think after that they’re just gonna start on a new game. I believe someone from Capcom said that they’re planning to start on a new Street Fighter soon - something about making a new game every 2 years or something. Iunno, Capcom says and does weird stuff

Street Fighter 5 confirmed shit tier, and we’re forever stuck with this crap.

I think some changes could be reverted during the next patch, which will be, in my opinion, Trials and Fixes

c.lp, s.lp, s.lk, s.mp, hk SK gives you enough time for charge where the shorter combo doesn’t (pretty sure). Unfortunately that’s what makes it necessary. I started grinding it nightly. I hope I can master it along with c.lkx2, s.lk, s.mp xx sk…

Yeah the charge is the issue, which is why Capcom really needs to add more hit stun on the lm’s, specifically s.lk so the links don’t miss as often.

Has anyone found any uses for W ultra? I find it useful in the Ibuki match - U2 for her kunai mixups, and U1 so I don’t have to deal with a kunai followup after her dp

Since we are all about damage with Bison I’ve been completely ignoring W. I’ll give it a shot, tho. Maybe the “Deterrance” factor will play in our favor in some matchups.

I only ever used Wumbo for the new characters day 1 when I didn’t know which ultra was better.

Been using it against shotos. I get u2 every game, maybe they don’t care and just throw fireballs cause of the scaling.

You can easily do cr.lp > cl.lP > st.MP > SK. You have enough time for charge…

I’ve never been able to get enough charge time out of that string. I ever have to use an extra s.LK to get a Scissor Kick out of it…

Is that close st.mp or far st.mp?

I mean Far MP. But close MP (90 damage) works on some character too.

That 3 hit string won’t give you enough time to charge unless your crossing up someone or already the charge held down. Classic cr.lp > s.lp> s.lk >cr.mk > scissors is the best choice after low kick scissors and double dashing in.

If your having trouble getting the charge try delaying a bit after close s.lp > close s.lk to give you a bit more time for the charge.

Of course you have to charge before the first hit. Like during FADC or just a dash. I use to land cr.LP > cl.LP > cr.MP > Scissor after Scissor FADC. Just practice

I agree with @Yanniz . The string isn’t too difficult to pull off with a charge. Just need to make sure you’re starting the charge before the first hit.

EDIT: On a side note, I just realized that I’m the only person in this forum with a Guile avatar. Everyone else is Dictator. (I’m scared…lol)

EDIT 2: I was able to get the following combo.

SK > FADC > st.lp > far st.mp xx Scissor Kick.

The only problem I had was getting the st.lp to connect after the FADC. Guess I just need to find that FADC timing.

That combo shouldn’t be possible, Bison is +5 on Scissors fadc, his close jab is 6f and his far is 5f, but far jab is only +5 so it can’t combo into st.mp.

Unless I’ve been totally negligent of more frame advantage on Scissors fadc…

cr.lp > close lp > s.mp is possible. FADC closeLP > S.MP is impossible. Charge AND linkwise

Oh so that’s why I can’t get the st.lp to connect. I can definitely get the charge. The link I cannot though.

do the math:
16f dash (focus cancel into dash reduces 1f from the dash) + (considering you’re getting full charge from the dash)
5f starting frames close lp
2f active frames close lp
6f light attack hitstop
5f recovery close lp
1f if you link smp later
6f standing medium punch
1f if maybe you’re able to cancel s.mp’s second active frame instead of the first
9f medium attack hitstop (considering you cancel at its last active frames)

still under 55f

even if Scissors were +6, you wouldn’t be able to properly combo. You need 55 charged frames.
