M.bison USF4 , any Rumors of buff/nerf changes?

Since cr. LK xx LK scissors is still good for pressure, in what situations am I supposed to be using st. MP?

When cr.lk doesn’t reach? Duh…

I know you guys are tired of hearing people crying but i must vent for one last time. I’m giving up on Bison. His nerfs simply affected my game too much. DWU doesn’t help shit since PC EX is slow as fuck and teleport was badly nerfed. Scissors -1 means his wake up meaty pressure is not nearly as strong as it is. I used to feel rewarded driving people to the corner, now not so much.

His buffs are not that good as they seemed at first. cr.HP is meh, it doesn’t hit where i wish it would (directly above his head). If you’re doing this for anti air, 90% of the chances are you could’ve done far HK. And far MP is too situational, too character specific to be good.

This -1 shit won’t make Bison players “think more”. It’ll make them turtle more, and that’s not how i want to use this character.

It’s OK to rant sometimes because we’re humans, but, the problem with complaining is that it leads nowhere. No one’s game is going to be improved by reading these posts. Also, if you’re only complaining too much, it means that you’re frustrated. You’re probably not playing your characters’s strengths. Instead, your enemy is playing your weaknesses… which means you’re playing the game wrong.

I thought this video show some nice new tech with Bison’s buff in USFIV.

Some of that is very interesting. Hell attack into PC really isn’t since you are not likely to land that much hell attack is still inconsistent.

Awesome video mate, its nice to know some of these stuffs actually works, I tried to do some of it when Ultra came out but couldn’t do it on Ryu so I thought it may not be possible . is the PC/DR into Ultra is super character specific ?

most stuff are impratical. The only one I see myself using is EX Psycho > U1 against Akuma’s air fireball.

Yeah, I just tried some of them and the timing is strict. Not worth it. Especially when some of them seem to work only on Dhalsim due to his floatiness.

I tried EX PC (hitting at the very end) to Ultra 1, no matter how fast I pull out Ultra 1, it doesn’t catch Ryu.

Incredible! Like Krieger said, some of it is impractical but it is still cool to look at. It’ll come in handy if we ever feel ballsy and want to swag on someone

That being said, ex psycho into regular psycho/ultra definitely the best part of this. Even if some of it is character specific it’ll still have its uses. Good job on the vid

Yeah, I’m not too fond of Bison anymore but I won’t completely drop him. Rolento is also annoying as fuck, but I jumped onto the game late so maybe I’m not used to the stupid gimmicks. I’ve been using E. Ryu against him.
I was curious to see who the Japanese Bisons use, but they use no one.

I wish Bison had a tech tutorial where stuff was actually practical. Our best tech is back throw into Unblockable. Kappa

The EX DR into U1 is actually useful in a corner situation. If Bison is being pressured in the corner and they do something, say a DP, that isn’t high enough, or w/e and the DR hits, that’s Ultra for us. I see this is an excellent corner comeback option. And if they fear it, it means they will think twice about putting us in the corner.

At this point I am not really trying to link the s.mp after s.lk much anymore. c.lp, s.lp, s.lk, s.mp, hk SK only lands you like 3 more damage than c.lp, s.lp, s.mp, SK. It’s like 222 compared to 226 or something, not much difference. It is way easier to drop the s.mp cause of the difficulty in linking after the lk.

What I would like to see is them make c.mp easier to link and easier to link. Maybe even the s.lk add just a small amount of extra hit stun, just to make Bison drop his combos less.

I actually find c.mp, s.mp not that hard. I tend to drop the s.mp after lk’s more often than that combo.

Practice, practice I guess, but I think this area would not hurt to be buffed a bit just to make things more solid.

The PC into Ultra is huge! That setup after an SK is really godlike.

It doesn’t seems to work against Ryu but…

Good to know this. It didn’t take me long to get used to far MP and now I’m whiffing a lot in situations where cr.MK could work better.

I don’t see how you guys can hit confirm from this, you would really need some good reactions. From that video EX PC into U1, only works when it hits from the tip it looks like!

It’s quite easy imo, it’s just, I’d never been fishing for it. Then again I was in a tournament, and forgot about Bison’s ex sk buff 3 games in. I’m rusty in general.

Do you guys think there’s still gonna be a balance patch for Ultra? If so the thing i’d really love to see is being able to activate close LP from a farther distance. Kinda what they did to Akuma with his cl.MK.
