ClHP never worked after skull diver. Go for Cr.MP > S.MP > Special. If EX Skull Diver connects, you can simply Cr.MP > Special. Better if you don’t have the range

Speaking of online play, it amazes me how after playing this for damn near 6 years people still play like fucking retards.
I need to just be a training mode monster and find where my local scene is at these days. Getting nothing out of online but bad habits.

I’ve not try but i guess even the new faster crHP will not work, and all MP>exRFA don’t work

So only (minimizing dmg scaling) options are

SD > crMP > stMP > HK SK > exRFA > U1
exSD > crMP > HK SK > exRFA > U1

I only use EX Skull Diver after I hit them out of the air with headstomp near the end of the round, or when I’m sure I can set up an ultra directly afterwards
Does anyone actually notice a difference in scissor kick chip damage?

I find that increased pushback on scissors makes fake corner crossups easier

(on block) c.lk/c.mk > lk.scissors >jump
j.mk makes it crossup, and j.hp makes it not. The spacing is always perfect for this. I’m not sure why it only works on these two ground normals though

The only moment I feel confident of using skull diver is after a blocked near ground EX Headpress. Otherwise, you’re relying on your opponent’s lack of experience.

Scissors LK chip damage went up 3 points. 22 -> 25. Usually, the chip damage of a special is 25% of its damage.

If you land a scissors, don’t jump. If you’re not getting punished, it’s your opponent’s mistake. Even in the corner, they can freely dash under you and you’ll be stuck in the corner for no good reason.

Something good to know

The well known unblockable on Ryu, Ken, etc… :
Backthrow -> dash, wait 5~6 frames, jump MK /HK
Works also on Rolento and Poison. It makes every Poison DP wiffs

Setup for Cammy,… :
Backthrow -> step and a half -> jump MK
Works on Decapre. Every Psycho Sting wiffs

The move is easily avoidable with low moves, heck even Zangief and Hawk can low profile it.
