M.bison USF4 , any Rumors of buff/nerf changes?

I am going to Comic-con tomorrow, they have Ultra with Decapre. I will try Bison and Rolento. Hopefully it won’t be packed on Friday.

S.MP can be widely used. Can be used in Cr.LP > Cl.LP strings, frametraps, punishes.
Hell Attack into Psycho deals more damage and grants better positioning.
He didn’t even care for EX RF. Spent EX Scissors > FADC for a reversal that wasn’t really needed. Instead, could’ve stored meter to use in a EXRF. Lots of stun and damage.

Bison punishes a little better now, but still plays pretty much the same. He is gonna have the same trouble in high level opening up really good players with his linear ass game.
Get your alts ready. Bison & Whoever is a must in Ultra.

I got mine already coverd, Bison and Rolento all day ,(and maybe little bit of Decapre…)

I saw plenty of instances where he could have used st. mp and didn’t.

Far Standing MP start-up reduced by 2 frames (8F → 6F); recovery increased by 1 frame 11F → 12F; now Special/Super/and EX Focus-cancellable; damage reduced by 20 (80 → 60)

They reduced the damage WTF was this always in or is this a new change? Also that shit hits for 90 in v.2012 so they are taking 30 points of damage off…

What’s the point in making this buff so he could do more damage and at the same time nerf the damage itself? Bunch of idiots…

Exactly they give a nice punish to him but put it behind a 1 frame link and now they take the damage but still leave it 1 frame… good stuff I guess any damage is better than nothing. Fools gonna mash between the crouch MP and stand MP all day.

I didn’t read the damage change, wow one of the changes I was looking forward to the most and they do that? Going to go practise Chun Li now.

Yeah far MP hits for 90 in v2012. I could understand they want to reduce by 10 at least. But 30 are clearly too much imo. Crouch MK hits 65, start-up 5 frames. Far MP hit 60, start-up 6 frames !!! WHY ??

However U1 Start-up reduced by 2 frames is a really good news. More viable as an anti air, more move to punish with it. Sounds great…

Yeah that Ultra 1 buff is cool. Don’t know if it outweighs the 90 to 60 nerf though.

st.mp lost lots of its luster. It will still be good for frame traps and for characters that crouch mk wont reach, but in most situations why even bother with standing mp and the 1 frame link when cr. mk will reach do 5 more damage and is an easier link. at least U1 is faster, all the more reason to never use U2 lol.

So basically Capcom punished rushdown Bisons and improved turtle Bisons.

Facepalm.

Don’t blame me when i’m sitting 30s waiting for your projectile or jump in, blame Capcom.

Yeah I don’t get it, damage was the only reason to prefer st.mp over cr.mk really. Sure it has some more range, but still.

So basically Bison’s damage output is unchanged, apart from RFA. I’m getting the impression that Capcom realized how big of a deal RFA is gonna be for some characters, so they’re being careful not to buff them too much.

With that said… WTF YUN???

Yeah it kinda sucks that the only really good thing he got ain’t so nice anymore. We shall see though Poison looking better and better.

I would be okay with the damage nerf on far mp if cr.mp -> st.mp hit consistently across all crouching characters, but there was no mention of hitbox adjustments like in SFxT, so I doubt it.

They changed it to 70 damage… yay…
