Getting annoyed with everyone online always picking long range weapon as default.
edit: i should finish the campaign up, people are pulling weapons out of their asses online. i’m only at 2-1, played online more than the campaign and i wish i could get weapons from online play but all i get is stupid costumes…
The prospect for grinding all the titles in LP2 is daunting. Doing 300,000 damage with all the main guns and grenades and 100,000 for all the slot machine guns/VS weapons/grenades is fucking ludicrous. 300,000 damage with the plasma grenade? When the strongest one only does 40 damage? BANANAS CAPCOM. THIS SHIT IS FUCKING BANANAS.
I pray some sap finds a good area/chapter to grind quick damage/kills on.
I’m going to fucking do it, though. Even if it takes me the rest of the year. I’m going to finish LP2 completely and then go back and finish LP1 on extreme afterward.
strange thing… I already got the “Unlocked Everything!” title from the slot machine, but of course I’m nowhere even close to unlocking everything for real.
I hope there are more extra characters made downloadable in the future for this game. New characters (and new weapons, though that always presents a potential balance issue) are always more interesting to me than new maps.
Late to the party of this thread but I roll with Gasa and Furry like every night basically. The one good thing that came out of having bronchitis is that I got to play lots of LP2. This game is hella fun.
So guys just to let you know I’m starting an extreme run so I need a few good men to accomplish this mission.
It’s crazy because I bought this game specifically for multiplayer, I didn’t care for the single player of the first game. Yet here I am 40 hours later and I have played all of, 10 MP matches . The campaign is just toooooo gooood to put down, I can’t stop and I want more (Femme Fattales or Snow Pirate Elite DLC please?)
Have at least one person use Shotgun II to stun enemy mechs and medium-sized akrid.
Let one person pick up all the support weapons using Injection Gun II. Hit everyone with it so they can spam their T-ENG gun on the ground and max their T-ENG to 9999 for free all the time.
Have one person use Regen grenade for the rare instances when someone gets Battle Armor. Regen grenades are awesome for repairing those.
The boss where you manually have to load the shells into the cannon: Have the bot (if you have one) load the shells. One person sits underneath and does nothing but heal the ship. One person is in the Osprey to take off the worm’s scabs, when they’re open have the person on the cannon fire and blow him open.
The default ability that prevents constant T-ENG drain is pretty useful, as is Grenade I. We all switched to Fire Power II to take out Chapter II’s boss quickly because hes a sonofabitch (hardest boss in the game imo). We felt cocky and used Super Star for chapters 4 through 6 and had no problems.
I’m actually pretty pissed off that I went and redeemed those ingame t-shirt codes.
They are just in game advertising for Famtistu Xbox, Weekly Famitsu and News 4 Gamers. Gee yeah no thanks. That kinda stuff cheapens the experience for me and now I feel like my Lost Planet 2 is tainted.
So be warned these items are really stupid and just get in the way of the cool stuff (seriously there’s 22 of these dumb shirts so far between guys and girls… that’s alot of crap you have to sift through).
If the next T-shirt is says Axe or MTN DEW (looking at you, MGS Peacewalker) or Tapout (more like sellout) then I will be really mad.
so each campaign act, has its own character class? because it switched me from my current level 10 to a lvl 1 dude when we got to act 2. i found it kinda weird because i couldnt switch back so i assumed that it was forced and how it was supposed to be.
Looks like Capcom may be taking ideas for episode DLC. The OP isn’t from Capcom, but the Capcom mods stickyed the thread. Hopefully this means they’re reading over it.
