If you just want to play with SRKers, then either system would be fine. I have it on both personally lol

I love this game (juggling in between this and SSFIV atm), reviewers are idiots so far.
Co-op is a blast and multiplayer battle seem pretty even (Gotta love piloting PTX with Wesker on NEOS)
Btw is the map pack worth getting? The underwater map looks the same as the underwater boss battle from chapter 5…
I finally beat the last mission last night…it seems easier to just go at that solo (*battle gauge doesn’t go down when AI teammates die…thank God for that since they died probably 200 times every time that giant canker-sore/herpes/blister-worm thing launched the huge fireballs!).
Heh, it was funny that I was able to use the AI teammates as live “meat shields” for those fireballs on occasion… the roll’s invincibility potential + AI teammates positioned in front of you = you are untouchable by that fire. After the first few successful dodge-rolls +AI teammate sacrifices, I wasn’t even worried anymore…other than how to actually kill that thing since you aren’t really doing much damage at all until you remember the objective to place the damn GPS thing on it. haha, yeah I spent a long ass time trying to really kill it the old fashioned way.
Femme Fatales = HOTTTTT. I started playing Campaign again right after that with a Femme Fatale just to level her up and see more customization options.
*I don’t like gunblade too much anymore. The rate of fire is piss poor and it hardly kills anything.
Picking up Lost Planet 1 before I pick up 2. I’ve never played it before so I don’t want to spend too much money on a game I may end up hating glares at darksiders
I hope Capcom can eventually tweak the way games are started. Been in a couple rooms that slowly but gradually filled up to 16 & the hosts still didn’t start the game. To a lesser extent the same goes for 4-man co-op games, though not sure how they’d handle that (if an idle host dies in-game that just affects the BP for everyone else).
And I just had my first rockets-only match. Wouldn’t want to play it all the time, but with LP’s physics, grappling hook, & no health regen (no way to regen in MP right?), it was pretty damn fun.
Couple of Notes:
- Abilities do NOT work in Ranked Matches
- You can not get the Noms, that you have to earn, by spinning the Super Slot
- The only way to earn credits via MP Matches is to play Faction. You earn the most money from playing Faction matches where your Faction is in first, but I can promise you that if your Faction owns 50% of the pie, then you aren’t going to get anyone to play against.
There are a couple of ways to recover life in MP.
- Regen Grenade
- Injection Gun II
- Recover and Recover II abilities (not sure about this actually, but the description says that it works automatically in MP)
No, it’s not. I’m sure the maps are awesome, but I have yet to play on one because if a game starts and at least 1 person doesn’t have the maps downloaded, then the game switches to another map.

Recover slowly regains health kinda like when the auto-regen kicks in in co-op when you don’t manually use the harmonizer, except it’s even slower than that. Recover II is just faster. However, unlike co-op, no T-eng is used.
Picked up PS3 version so I can play with my bro too, but who from SRK can I add?
There’s not a dedicated DLC playlist or search prerequisite available to play only with the new maps?
Ah the infamous “they don’t have it so you can’t play it as well” setting, I guess the only way to to roll them is by creating a player match with some buddies… shame… Launching PTX’s from an aircraftcarrier seemed to good to be true :wgrin:

Damn this game is awesome, been playing online and doing really good. I’ll be better when I know how to work these equipment. I must go back to the first page and read thereon and see what I’ve missed. Dunno why this game isn’t marketed more and moar.

I felt a sadness that is hard to describe when the word “Congratulations you have unlocked everything!” popped up in the slot machine. My heart will no longer feel like it is jumping on a trampoline when boxes are dropped in the campaign. I have everything, but I want more! 
It pisses me off that Valkyrie’s head wasn’t the final unlock for the Femme Fatales. Also what happened to Snow Bunny’s model
I’ve gotta grind my 200 and 300 area/chapter playback achievements now, but I’ve finished the game on every difficulty. Extreme really wasn’t that hard at all (played through every difficulty except Easy with 2 friends).
My only complaint with LP2 is that the story was complete trash and they didn’t make any connections to LP1 beside the slight clone thing with…well you know who when you see him. What happened to Wayne, Luka and her brother with those stupid fucking dreadlocks? I MUST KNOW.
Also probably the worst final boss design I can think of, I mean seriously a giant pile of orange tang. You can do better Capcom.
Yeah the last boss was mega ass. They could have least had some like bad ass akrid in it’s baby form or some shit, like on an evangelion tip.
I feel so lame for not knowing about the secret chapter in Episode 1.
I hope that Capcom focuses on Episode DLC’s at 400 points a piece. I think it’s clear what the people want. I vote for the Femme Fatale’s getting their own Episode first. Then a prequel with Wayne and his crew.

True, but the Monster Hunter skin by itself is amazing.
