Skyward Sword taking up most of my time right now

I blame my sucky-ness on SC2 and Skyrim.
MW3 and Super Robot Taisen Z for me. At least in FPSs you donāt stew over your loss for the next 20 minutes because of a failed read or a stupid defensive flaw, you just find another noob to slay.
Iām writing a book of fiction and also had to compromise with my wife on my remaining time, so i can only play late night, a few nights of the week
I donāt know what else to do now. I have figured out that my major problem is inability to react quickly. Iāve been practicing now since Super and I still blow.
Me too, I chose to main Makoto within the first hour of playing Super. Once I reached that wall with Makoto where I just couldnāt improve, I just started experimenting with other characters. Now Iām back to Makoto and still stuck at this wall that I just canāt get over, but I feel like I have a deeper understanding of the game from devoting time to those other charactersā¦
i been trying not to give up on this characterā¦but i just canāt fucking be consistent her.
I think consistency is only achieved when you hit Mossadās/Robotās level. The lack of game knowledge/sense hurts mid level Mak players a lot. I think we might be the only sub-forum with a thread dedicated to frustrating losses.
HA iām not consistent at all. I can never play regulular. Its either GOD MODE or Makoto Must Die Mode. And its all random lol. i actually get more angry when iām beasting than when iām getting beat because of my inconsistency to sustain Makoto GOD MODE. It makes me angry that I canāt play like that all the time.
someone hacked my xbox live account and spent 250 dollars on the marketplace.
so I get on PSN and proceed to lose 10 matches in a row.
One of them being a Zangief who just jumped at me and mashed SPD.
edit: Iāve lost all 2000 of my pp and now its at 300.
Iām not even raging. I never raged. I am straight up broken and depressed.
I know Iāll get better but god damn, I am at a low point right now.

I just got done playing against a 9500BP Chun Li and I literally became one hit away from beating her. I decide to ultra her while she finishes her whiffed ultra but what does my stick decide to do? An EX Fukiage! Then she just EX legs me and I end up losing. Life is unfair.
I hate that. When I first started, Karakusa to EX Fukiage made me Hayate my wall.
The worst thing for me when this happens, is knowing that Iāve adjusted the microswitches in my stick to the point that left, right and down register if I move the stick even a mm. SO HOW THE HELL DO I MISS THE INPUTS!?!
So I was playing some Seth today. Typical nonsense, SRK out of every pressure string, ect. Well, it was down to the wire and de does random U2 on his wakeup. Knowing I hadnāt pressed anything, I was already mentally chalking up a win and getting ready to move on when mid-Ultra flash the game freezes. I just knew the kid had pulled the whole ādashboard during the Ultra flashā trick so I was mentally facepalming but nope, the game proceeds onward after about a two second pauseā¦and OF COURSE, Iām frozen in place unable to punish the Ultra. OF COURSE. And of course, I wasnāt able to close out the match because I was raging so hard at this incredibly convenient lag for this kid.
In other news, I finally achieved my goalā¦I got to 10k BP with Makoto! It only goes downhill from here, Iām sure.
Those lag moments are the effing worst.
I havenāt played in forever but got on the other night and was doing well. Playing against a fierce RTSD Ken who got me down to 15% life. I finally got some opportunities and got him blocking to open him up like a treasure chest. Got my dizzy and charged up FA in corner for a reset andā¦timeā¦slowsā¦downā¦ I let go before flash apparently and lv1 FA comes out. I panic and go for throw, He mashes U1ā¦GG
Itās rare, but OMFG with the freeze input from lag. Itās blue balls city when youāre in the middle of the rushdown/mindfuck part of the round and the lag creepsā¦and you compensate your inputs trying to keep the mindfuck goingā¦itās creeping and getting worseā¦oh God itās warping like crazy but I can make this workā¦almostā¦gotā¦dizzyā¦then finaaalllly Makoto stands still in the middle of a pressure string and wonāt respondā¦
DINK! DP, Ultra, fuck
Itās one thing for the game to suddenly play like shit, itās another to just lose all inputs.
