Yeah I never got anything good out of that. Super is so easy to hit with her that I don’t think that trick is worth it.

Come by Video 94 if you get the chance! It’s only a few minutes away. It’s just a video store that has AE for 25 cents. Not that many people come by it’s just 4-5 of us regulars so it’s a good place if you want to try stuff out without worrying about too many people playing.

And yeah, I’ll prolly swing by Video 94, I’ve heard a lot about that place. I want to get in a ton of games while I’m there (only 3-4 days) so I’m looking for the place that’s gonna be most heated lol.
If there’s not many people at Video 94 though, I’ll prolly go there to mess around with Evil, Oni and Yun.
AI used to be the best place for SSF4 competition in SoCal but now there’s not really one go to spot

Don’t know if you guys saw the AE trailer or not yet, but I’d figure I’d throw this out there. Some people are saying that they’re going to allow AE characters (with buffs+nerfs) against Super version of characters.
Let’s just say this happens. Which version would you guys chose? Super version with more damage and stun, or AE with faster MK and new target combo?
I’ll pick SSF4 Cammy and troll everybody that thinks they’re playing a Cammy without TKCS.
Nah but in all srsns I’ll pick AE Ibuki because 5frame st.MK is a much needed buff to her footsies potential. cr.HK tc is nice but not necessary.

a lot of characters got a damage nerf. better tools in the ground game is more useful.

also having watched the trailer…it seemed to me that they meant that you could still play super against people who hadn’t purchase the AE DLC. not any ST Old and New character type stuff.
Probably. I don’t drive so I haven’t been to many tournaments. I don’t know if we’ve met though.
I think that AE ibuki is better because she has better footsies.Imo the st mk buff is more important than the neckbreaker nerf.We will probably have to find new safe jumps after the nb though and adjust our vortex timing in this new version.The new tc will come handy to break focus attacks since crhk has a good range ,but i guess that it will whiff against some characters if they are at max crhk range .We also have the option of a new mixup like stlp>new crhk tc combo>sjc cd,jump or superjump(apart from tc6 or8).I also think that jump back kunai is better now because it makes her more offensive.
I think it’s a good idea to be able to switch between ae and ssf version of your character,though it would be better online and offline tourneys to be ae locked…Oh and let’s hope that yun and yang will get a bit nerfed for the console edition… and fei too.lol
I’m all about them nerfing Fei. Character is another auto pilot character that is too good for how easy he is to play.
