A funny little setup from Fasoll (shown at Dreamhack Valencia stream): after s.mk xx M.Tsumuji whiff BHPxxsjc into j.LK/Kunai for DWU.
Hay guise, long time no see. I am only here for this post, so no worries you won’t have to see me again.

Good shit to Evo Ibukis. For the first time ever (5 years and 5 Evos since Super SF4?) we have some Ibuki representation in Evo top 32-48 besides Sako.
-
I’ve been losing interest in SF because of poor local scene (still winning locals with random select), and I have no motivation to travel solo.
Also life/work/career/personalfinance > SF -
I wish delayed wakeup had a risk. Right now I feel like it’s basically vanilla SFxT roll that doesn’t go anywhere. Maybe make it partially throw invincible, or remove the ability to reversal after delayed wakeup? Or completely remove the reversal window so if people want to do a reversal on top of a delayed wakeup, then they will require the 1f execution to do so (looking at you Luffy delay wakeup + mash backdash all day. nah but good shit winning though (:
3.1. There’s probably some thread on SRK talking about delayed wakeup but these are just my two cents. Nothing wrong with having DWU imo, just dislike that you can do it or not do it without any repercussion at all. -
Wtf button config still no option for select. Still have to rewire my stick to not drop every combo like Sako did.
-
Personally do not like USF4 Ibuki. Does not feel the same at all. Vortex character without a vortex… why not delete her from the game then? Any character can do ambiguous jumpins; I want my kunai in my opponent’s balls followed by 1/3 life Tsumuji combo for the lulz.
Completely agree; if you try to do an autopilot kunai setup, you’re putting yourself in a 50/50 to have the kunai whiff and you get punished. Speaking of which, you can probably do what I saw (I think?) Pugera do and take a guess if they DWU, and whiff a st.LP as well with your unblockalol. st.LP is 10f, DWU is 11f, and Ibuki’s unblockalols have frames of leniency. Either way it’s still a 50/50 on you; good luck juggling that with an appropriate option select.
5.1. Currently no USF4 character fits my previous playstyle (flowchart vortex/unblockalol into combo video into lulz). Now promiscuous-ing around random select, and generally hovering over the top tier (I strongly believe this is Chun/E.Ryu). Again nothing really forcing me to settle on a main chicken while my local scene is lackluster.
-
If anybody wants to take over the Ibuki Charts then you can let me know, or you can just download the spreadsheet and then re-upload it to Google Drive. From what I saw from Pugera, Tsumuji should basically work on everyone by using cr.LP instead of st.LP.

Idk wtf went on with the Ibuki Checklist but I removed all comments and made it view only. If someone wants to take this over, I can give this to them too.
7.1. I noticed some criticism (which I never responded to) about the Ibuki Checklist and how it doesn’t teach you fundamentals. No, it doesn’t teach you fundamentals; that’s not the point of the checklist. The point of the checklist is to get you familiar with Ibuki, fast. It doesn’t teach you Daigo’s ground game nor Fuudo’s patience nor Snakeyes’s reads nor Valle’s footsies. But if you can do everything on that checklist consistently, as well as maybe the Sako combos, then you can still call yourself an Ibuki master regardless of how good your fundamentals are.
Anyways, back to my cave, see you next year.
Mingo! It has been a long time T___T.

Don’t you have Gridman, Weaksauce, and Alex Smith on your locals?
-
I dislike and like DWU in some ways. Dislike because some characters like Bison will be very hard to pin down now and it’s risky to do an OS if he does DWU, maybe HK dash will be really helpful or at least limit his wakeup options. Then I like it because it forces me to look for other options other than just doing kunai or ambiguous j.lk/j.mk and makes me a better player.
-
I personally love USF4 Ibuki. 3f cr.lp especially lol and she’s not affected by DWU much because not many of her ambiguous setups aren’t frame perfect. Overall, she benefits from DWU more than it hurts her. My Ibuki has become Dudley-esque with overhead, cr.lk mixups and I prefer that than doing vortex loops all day, so I guess USF4 is my game.
Unblockables are still in the game. The setup you said was already posted somewhere in this thread during first week of USF4 release, but you have to make a read if they DWU or not. -
I made a new chart, but I copy pasta’d your old data. Sadly, some characters still remain unloopbale and MK Tsumuji got nerfed so you can’t link it to f.lk, and to st.lp is a 1f link now, so MK tsumuji loop is as good as useless. In case you want to come back to SF again in the future, this is the link (still WIP): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CiT6Rz4rGlXVEKTDG4OclHzJgHjFql51GSGFjlCWjjg/edit#gid=0
Hopefully Mingo will come back once the PC version drops or if not, then after the impending patch release.
Just a quick side bar that if anyone wants a more in depth lesson in learning Ibuki, including fundamentals, that also compliments the Ibuki checklist and the Ibuki charts (and Izuna’s guide for that matter), the stickied Ibuki Training Regimen is a great place to start.
Which also happen to be OP’d by Mingo.
To Mingo: don’t be a stranger (or be a stranger), but if and when you decide to resurface in a Bobby Fisher-esque manner, we’ll be here to welcome you
I don’t know but I recently changed my mind about DWU. I thought it buffed her in a way because the unblockables will eventually force someone into DWU but Ibukis ambiguous jumpins are really easy to block if you know how to do it though.
You can basically just crouch after a neckbreaker and if you see her telegraph an ambiguous jumpin you just block delayed crossup from crouching using the hadouken motion. Even the unblockable gets pretty easy to block with this and that one is actually the hardest thing to block out of the ambiguous jumpins she gets after a neckbreaker. It’s definitely not a one frame block. Feels like 2-3 frames to me. Anything that isn’t unblockable is even easier to block (4-6 frames). Walk back whiff s.LP superjump LK / MK are also pretty easy to block this way.
If you crouch the framekills don’t really matter. It’s just the distance. From certain distances she will always crossup if you’re crouching but it might vary depending on timing if you’re standing.
I don’t know but it’s been a while that I got hit by an ambiguous jumpin. I wonder how long it will take for the rest of the fgc to learn this.
This also works really good against Cammy. If I know that my opponent uses this delayed crossup block tactic I actually have to mix it up with delayed ex strikes that will hit in front lol.
Finally hit 5k BP. R.I.P my sanity after dealing with shenanigans online. My combo timing is off and there’s just so much lag sometimes that it’s cost me games. But I made it to B rank so I guess that’s a victory?
Hi everyone xD
im just wondering if you could help me im trying to figure out how this combo video works im currently still practicing on the 1st combo on the vid but i just can’t do it . I already break down the combo and it starts with cr.LP cr.LP st.Mk Kasumi gake but only two kicks then st.LP st.MK kasumi gake but the problems is after the first kasumi gake when i st.LP it became out of range the combo breaks T-T so uhm did i do something wrong missed something in the combo ?
this is the combo vid im trying to imitate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm_C8jfL0h4
im just new to the street fighter forums so please forgive me if my explanation is kinda weird anyways please help im losing in the online battles cause i can’t heavily punish my opponents T-T
It’s not kasumi gake,it’s tsumuji, and it’s LK Tsumuji, LP MK, it’s a tsumuji loop (1 frame link) it’s kind of hard at the start but then it’s realy easy
Oh sorry my bad and thanks for correcting me .
Actually i posted it too on the saikyo dojo and they say that this tsumuji loop is applicable only to certain characters ? is that true ?
Yes, tsumuji loop is character specific. She has a lot of varieties of the combo.

Obervations:
Loop 7 (st.MP , st.MK xx LK Tsumuji , st.LP , st.MK xx Special) works on everyone but:
Blanka, Cammy, C. Viper, Dan, Decapre, Guy, Juri, Poison, Rose (interesting guy is added and T. Hawk is removed from this list)
And when dealing with these characters you can do Loop 15 (St.MP, St.MK xx LK Tsumuji, Cr.LP, St.MK xx Special) on:
Blanka and Rose
That leaves Cammy, C. Viper, Dan, Decapre, Guy, Juri, Poison
The best option here for these characters is TC4, st.LP, st.MK xx Special (HK Kazegiri FADC cr.HP SJC HK/MK command dash?)
TC4, st.LP, st.MK works on Cammy, C. Viper, Dan, Decapre, Guy, Juri. Doesn’t work on Rose but you have cr.LP variation (Loop 15) and the spreadsheet doesn’t say if it works with Poison but I just tried it and it does.
and for hit-confirms cr.LP, cr.LP can be substituted for st.MP as well as:
cr.LP, st.LK xx st.MK
f+MK, cr.LP, st.MK
**On the Character Specifics page is says on column F “TC6/8 juggle into Raida without SJC dash”, I see you updated this from “f.MK + cross-up” very recently, it would be interesting to see the full list of that as well.
**
The reason why I removed the f.mk crossup is because it depends entirely on your opponent’s option, not character specific stuff like I thought since the beginning. Example, the overhead can cross up on Balrog only when he tries to stand tech or crouch tech. Then I saw Pugera’s f.mk crossup when it went over Rose’s EX soul spiral.
What do you guys do when you get burned out? I’ve been trying to play today but I’m dropping all my combos, my reactions are way slower, and I’m losing to really dumb stuff. I went from 1200pp to like 700 lol.
I stop playing online or take a break from the game for a couple of hours or a day. Then I play again when I feel better.
I can’t land the lp after tsumuji to save my life. Man this shits hard.
Who are you trying it on? are you sure you’re doing it on a loopable character?
I guess I lied. I had to lurk again to see what responses would elicit. This time I’ll go back to the cave for sure!
- They only go to GU (Game Underground), never come down to RI. And I’m never motivated enough to go to GU as it’s a 1+ hour drive one way, especially not solo.
2.1. Anyways some months ago I visited San Diego FGC (the most southern of Socal) and my Ibuki (AE2012) was trash. Ibuki in particularly doesn’t seem like a character that you can go afk for months and still maintain execution/ability/etc. You can probably find my casual match (Ryu) vs Lacey (Gouken) on Youtube. I think I played like shit with Ryu as well.
-
I personally don’t like having a 3f cr.LP, as it nullifies the bonus points of using st.LP. I’d prefer a buff in other more important areas (like Tsujigoe capcom pls).
-
Holy shit my eyes. Please don’t use bright red; notice why in my chart I use a nice cool blue.
I’ll probably play PC version but not sure how much. I still have a backlog of games to play after summer steam sale stole my monies (again).
Thanks for pointing that out; I actually mispoke: I meant the training regimen, not the checklist (although I guess the checklist is part of the regimen?).
edit: most people don’t know but the Stevens bros (Gridman and Weaksauce) absolutely hate me. Like my presence just pisses them off (Gridman in particular). Maybe it’s because I troll them with Ibuki vortex, maybe it’s because I troll him with his own character https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BIqerCfJYk
Zaferino (Fei Long player) says it was because “I [was] a threat to them” but I think it’s just because I constantly troll.
3f cr.lp is a really huge buff. So helpful against divekick characters, and now you can punish Yun’s high divekick on block with a mashed jab instead of trying to time a perfect frame TC4 punish. I mash that shit like I’m Balrog now. It’s really good.
That was my point. I don’t want brainless mashed things. If you’re going to have something as powerful as a 3f jab with excellent hitbox and priority, then it should be something that must be used intelligently, planned, etc., things that were requirements of using her TC4 as a 3f “reversal”. Although this is my opinion and we will undoubtedly have different views on the game.
