I might play AE, but since Steam integration, the online has been really crappy for me and the good players abandon it for Ultra. Basically, it’s infested with newbies that bought the game when it was on sale on the first day of Steam integration. Down for mirrors, but I feel like playing some Dudley. I’ve been having so much fun with the character.
MK Tsumuji don’t work? It’s still +4 on hit o.o. Does the reduced recovery cause more pushback so the far jab don’t reach? Maybe use f.lk for MK tsumuji loop but I feel that it’s not worth going for anymore if that’s the case. FFFFUUUUUU that means I have to revise the chart then
Supposedly the tsumuji hitbox buff we got affected the reeling animations on some characters, so that’s why it doesn’t work on Guy and now we have double loop on Dudley. It kinda sucks because the buff still hasn’t fix the issue of tsumuji whiffing on some characters. Though someone posted some time ago that loop works on Guy when he’s crouching or off BP (first far.hp must hit so that you can know that the loop will work). I think if possible, tsumuji loop off BP is worth more than Loop #7 for little more damage and bigger stun. Less links to worry about too.
Wait about MK Tsumuji loop, someone posted the damage and stun for the BP RFC combos for my chart about a week ago and MK tsumuji loops were included and he was able to do all of them, so I assume MK Tsumuji loops still work. Maybe try again?
I went from AE Ibuki to USF4 Ibuki and I couldn’t do the f.lk follow ups anymore. I hit them nearly 100% in the arcades and I was wondering why that was happening.

According to the USFIV frame data app the MK Tsumiji is +3 on hit now.

Don’t trust a frame data where it says Fei Long’s cr.mp is +25 on block. SRK wiki frame data is more accurate, but with no data on the new characters yet.
The official Brady Games app is all kinds of wrong, not just in the frame data but also in its bloat and clunky UI.

Played the same GT about 7 more games to farm PP. I highly doubt it is Deiminion’s Yang. Not that it sucked, but I don’t think I can do better against him than almost any other higher ranked player.
That said, I am number 6 Ibuki with 3187PP
So meaty st.mk red focus on wakeup works? Does counter hit work? Like I said before BP RFC is more rewarding for those that can’t land loops because of scaling, but still Ibuki is one of the characters that has weak red focus potential if not the only one(?). I think she’s the only character in the Capcom character changes video on Youtube without doing some red focus combo haha. Probably only use it if you need the extra damage to kill or stun. But she still have unblockables/vortex and footsie buffs so I guess she’s not missing out on much. Wish HK tsumuji have enough hit stun to crumple though :(, would make that move useful and practical to use. Shame that she still can’t use meter for a more damaging offense from hit confirms.
It is very obvious we got the BP buff because there was no other way to give Ibuki a Red Focus attack without it being broken as hell. It really was the only move available that had long start-up.
Yeah meaty st.MK works, as does CH. I can’t get a meaty in a combo though, if I could I could technically Tsumuji loop perhaps 6 times on one character if I work in a stun in the middle, that would be great to make a video of.
I’m fine with Ibuki tbh. My performance has been really good especially since DWU has made everything easier for mix-ups. There are a few things I have to learn but otherwise the whole thing is great.
Hmm is the HK on TC9 focus cancellable? Eh if that works the damage would suck anyway. But yeah she can have some broken stuff if her RFC is stronger and she gets a knockdown from it too.
Wait Izuna, about MK tsumuji loop are you only talking about the f.lk followup but not st.lp? Asked some players to test out and still can do the st.lp but can’t do f.lk followup.
No one wants to do st.LP after MK Tsumuji, scaling is horrible. f.LK was amazing because it was sort of easy and with meter you could get a crazy amount of Stun. But nevermind, it isn’t important.
TC9 isn’t cancellable, and to be honest it would still be kinda OP if Ibuki could cancel from it. Could you imagine going into a Tsumuji Loop into a focus cancel, doing nearly 700 Stun into whatever setup you wanted?
It was a 2f link loop that can deal more than 300 dmg that requires no meter and can do a knockdown with neckbreaker. But now the loop feels like 1f so it’s not worth doing anymore.
TC9 RFC wouldn’t be OP because of its poor damage/stun and the RFC scaling. Even BP RFC stun isn’t close enough to be in 700 range even after a loop.
A hit confirm into RFC would allow me to put you to the other side of the map from a single combo and set up almost any situation I want. No to mention you would have to make it special cancellable also so the lk xx mk target combo would receive more damage as well as an extra whole second for a hitconfirm. Also not to mention that far.st.HK does enough blockstun to make MK Tsumuji safe. =P
Don’t all RFC combos lead to corner carry anyway? Like Yun for example, easy red focus confirm and he gets a mixup afterwards. Also no need to make the HK special cancellable. Dudley’s HP can crumple with Red Focus and is not special cancellable. Ibuki’s cr.hp have more hit stun than BP yet it’s a mystery why RFC don’t work.
