Someone convince me to keep playing Ibuki, thinking of dropping her. I’m wanting someone with sturdy match ups, so I’m turning homo and thinking of taking up ryu.

it’s not so sexy if you’re playing against bison lol. 
I’ve seen DevilJin handle some Bisons well. Not too bad of a match if you just block a lot. I’ve played it myself; blocking and cr.strong are really good in the match.
The only thing that annoys me about the match up is no matter how much I block, they will just set up tick throws - a situation where I am really bad in. Maybe it’s just XBL, but I can’t tech for shit. I just got wrecked by a dudley player who did nothing but it a couple of seconds ago. But I guess that’s my fault and not ibuki’s.

Except he still gets out of pressure anytime he has meter or ultra. Option selecting just makes it so he doesn’t hit you when he does try to get out.
If you’re talking about the grab teching OS then I’d rather not get involved in that lol. I’d rather tech my grabs like a man rather then having them catch onto the fact I’m doing it then set up some counter hit block strings. other then that i know about the neckbreaker > super jump > meaty cr.mp xx mk spin kicks OS neckbreaker. But I do feel bad for bison in some ways, I mean look at the guile vs bison match up… he has to play like 3x as good as the guile player to win.

If you’re afraid of him trying to EX PC u can OS with j.HP to EX kazekiri. That way you’ll force him to use EX Devil Reverse or teleport to escape which is much easier to deal with. Fighting Dictator is basically about fishing for knockdowns and forcing him to waste all of his meter on EX trying to get away. Once u get Dictator low on meter he’s much more manageable. Focus dash forward in on him if he’s abusing s.MK/s.HK.

I face a lot of them online. Yet I still struggle with the matchup, I’ve seen so many I feel like I’m being counterpicked although they can’t see my characters.
Haha, I didn’t get a chance! I was looking forward to it after you picked him and then my connection dropped, it’s been sucky for a few days now. Need to get Sky to sort it out pronto. Hence the message I’ve sent you.
By all means if you see me online chuck me an invite, I might even be able to dig out a microphone from somewhere, haha. I think wapping out a flowchart Ken can actually be a good way to unstress, especially if you’ve had some bad Ibuki luck.
And @Spinning Beat: I used to think that with T-Hawk all the time. Now that I’ve practiced the match-up I haven’t fought a T-Hawk in weeks… bleh
