You’re playing ranked. Of course you’re going to find scrubs of all kinds. I am not sure why you think only Ibuki scrubs exist. You don’t play vs flowchart Kens anymore?
Well some folks just dont really know how to use her. When I come across people who do stuff like that I assume they just started using her. Just beat that ass and tell’em head to the lab.
There’s also a lot of players online that haven’t bothered to learn how to hit confirm. ALL Ibuki’s want to hit that neckbreaker, and if you can’t hit confirm it somehow, you’re going to roll the dice and do a few random neckbreakers and focus attacks.
Well my Ibukis finally at A rank. I’m done with Online SSF4 for now.I was hoping to get 5000 PP before I reached it but had a losing streak right before. Sucks.
Got tons of other games I need to play. Hit me up if you want to have matches.
Nice pred!! gratz man u deserve it, ur ibuki is decent and u learn quick…i really dont care bout online ranking, but i guess i will try to get back once i get my new arcade stick (currently using a horrible HORRIBLE PAD!)…maybe i will try to hit rank B+ or something, tis easy.
anyways i need help with my rose and abel, i will hit u up in a bit pred!! be prepared
15000 BP damn that’s a lot of grinding.
yup! lol
so, uhm, has anyone else noticed that s.mk, tsumuji and c.mp, tsumuji can be hit out of?
as a matter of fact, did anyone notice that there’s nothing she can do about this? after the opponent sees s.mk or c.mp, they can input srk. if you do another move, or do lk tsumuji, nothing will come out. but if you do mk tsumuji, you can always get hit out of. srk will sometimes trade, but can hit clean. ex moves are a no-brainer clean hit.
…or is this common knowledge?
It’s a lot worse against T. Hawk… he can 360 on reaction to that. I’ve been thinking whether ibuki is my character or not. I keep having second thoughts and always scrolling through the cast too see who else is in the game, but everyone looks just as boring as the next… and if they do look fun, I won’t enjoy playing them. Viper and akuma are the only exceptions to this, viper mainly. But she is just too hard… and I’m not talking execution, though it’s tough, I feel her in game play is much harder. but that’s just me. Guess I’ll be with ibuki for a while.
well, her footsies were already bad enough, now even if she manages to connect with a blocked hit, she can’t 100% safely do chip damage with anything.
this is a huge turn-off. the sad part is no one has even done this to me yet, i was playing against an ibuki and did it by accident.
Same prob in here Jord…am actually takin a break to Continumm shift BB until they release the new SSF4 chars. any idea when anyways :S? lol
Should be this falls alongside the new costumes
lk.tsumuji…?
I would play another fighter to take a break, but BlazBlue bores me with few characters sadly. But when I do play I use Taokaka. I only have CT, CS gets released here in december.
Man I can’t wait to find out what her new costume is, I don’t know what to expect. Knowing capcom it will either be really plain and simple, or really over the top.
yea, i take back the “100%” remark; i dunno why the hell i even said that after having already said lk tsu was ok.
i guess it’ll be interesting to see how it pans out. people will learn you can srk her in-between that and it might be useful in baiting out attacks. still, i’ll miss those 3 hits i thought were free.
st.mk > mk tsumuji actually made me think that ibuki’s footsies weren’t too bad after all once I started to use it more and get a bigger grasp of her game, but I guess I’ll have to stick to lk tsumuji against people that know about it.
Someone posted a pic of her new alt costume in one of the threads about it. It was epic…
Was that me posting this one? If so i don’t think it’s been totally confirmed for her new alt. Just some concept art. But if it was a different one, could you describe what it looks like? D:
Nah it was that one.
That whole pressure string is not as safe as people think. One of the people I play has taken to mashing dp, headbutting, flash kicking between my 2nd or 3rd jab and the s.mk. Another person I played was just mashing right after the s.mk, and it will hit any version. With mk, it interrupts between the first and second hit of tsumuji. With lk, it punishes with reversal timing(lk version is -4 on block).
