well i have a friend who is really good himself (Doa ultimate as well as 4) so if you can come to this tourney ill introduce you and you can play him cuz he is really good himself but im not a 3d type of person but i wouldnt know if i would murder you in 2d games except for KOF…i usually dont state that ill beat someone until i play them for myself but hey again if you show up ill play you in ST, 3s, Cvs2, Mvc2, and even A3…so im up for any competition even with someone who goes to tournaments and things so lol

We usually run a 16 man backet, double elim for MvC2. The other two will probably be 8 man due to lesser interest. $5 to enter, but you could opt out and still enter, however you will not get any prize $ if you place top 3. All the entrance fee will go to the pot and is split 65/25/10 to the top 3 respectively. Arcade joysticks will be used, however you could use your own stick or pad of preference if you’re paying to enter. If you’re using one of our sticks please be gentle with them, so no mashing like crazy, no wearing rings/bracelets (scratches the buttons and plexiglass), no dirty/greasy hands, etc. Lastly, no stupid stuff in my house or I will kick you out with the quickness.
Hmm. Yeah, that’s pretty far. I don’t see myself finding a way there by this Saturday. But perhaps a future session/tourney when I actually have the money for a cab. :tup:

-Read what SF3LP posted above. My place is 2min away from Hofstra and is 10min away (walking) from Hempstead bus and train station.
-Fighters: 3rd & MvC2, and possible a MvC2 team tourney if 3S ends early. 3S will run on two stations while MvC2 casuals will run on the third station. MvC2 will run on all three stations like last time.
-Time: Casuals starts at 12noon. 3S starts at 1pm. MvC2 will start promptly after 3S (probably 3ish-4).

yeah i was kidding about certain things except for the tournament part…but no i dont use oro idk who said that but nah i dont use him although i do use a lot of characters: (in order of skill) Alex, Yang, Akuma, Dudley, Chun-li, Makoto, Yun, Ken, Ryu so technically yun, ken, and ryu are my best so i wouldnt want to count so much on akuma if i were you lol…but yeah i grew up using a pad until like a year i tranfered over to a stick and became as good as i am in the games i play lol
oh yeah syn…um my friend alex wanted to ask if the entering fee changed since there are a lot of ppl going…and I wanted to know what kind of input does your adapter have for the keyboard…like if its a usb port or a circlish looking kind (sort of like an s-video cable input)…since Chris (tall lol ) is gonna be bringing a keyboard lol and also if there is a chance of being another tournament for another game like ST or Cvs2 or something like that?
- Contribution to the pot winning is going to be $5.
- Adapter is for the “circlish” looking kind, and I can’t guarantee that it’ll work for MvC2.
- As of now it’s just 3S and MvC2. If I’m going to add another game it’s going to be CvS2, but that’s doubtful.

In general, we will be following SRK’s Evo tourney rules for each specific game. I’m not sure of the latest rules for 3S so you’re going to have to look that up. We will keep it as “arcade” as possible, so winner of each game can not change anything. Loser can change character(s), modes, sides, etc.
