2C after 5C is not necessary.
Thanks! That cleared that part up. Even after fixing the height problem, I still have trouble connecting the second j.C. Either I do the input for the air dash too early after j.D and it doesn’t come out, or I whiff the j.C after air dashing. I’m just gonna keep practicing it, since it’s really just timing at this point.
EDIT: I just figured out my problem. I didn’t know the first j.D had to be delayed slightly after j.C. Oops. Back to training
“hey, it’s the boobie lady”
i just played through arcade with the cat, and this was the funniest shit i heard. had me rolling, lol.
Think of it like this: It’s not delaying the JC, it’s holding [D] until they are securely on the ground. You don’t want the staff to relaunch them off a bounce.
Anybody got any useful info for fighting a good Jin, I was getting knocked around by this Jin in player matches today… it was annoying as hell :wasted:
And that relaunch was exactly what was happening the few times I got the air dash > j.C to connect. I’m worn out for today though, I’ll do more practicing tomorrow after work.
I’m still hanging between Litchi and Taokaka. :xeye:
Motivate me to play litchi!!!
:china:
im tryin 2 learn litchi but her combos confuse the hell outta me
Nice thread especially since Litchi is my main thanks
if you’re looking at the Dustloop combos, they will be confusing with all the notations and whatnot. I’m still getting confused granted I know most of her stuff mianly because they use move names (mainly for the rekkas) and then revert back to the numpad notations.
then add the fact they’re trying to tell you to hold D for some of her combos.
Hey guys I know how annoying it is to not know what combo to do at what distance so I’m trying to work on uploading what I’ve learn/been taught.
LK showed me a lot of stuff, here’s what I have for you guys so far
I’ll ask later if he can upload some of his finds to his youtube, or if I can copy it onto mine :p. Or you can just watch him destroy me in mirrors on my channel as I upload a few sets each night out of 10.
so how do you guys do all green consistently. Theres probably a simply way to do it but I’m just not seeing it.
With Matenbou, you can buffer the inputs from Litchi’s 5C, or 5B 5C. The 2 hits from 5C Matenbou give you more than enough time to do the inputs.
Without Matenbou, I’m not sure
All right, probably 70% of your wins will be have a hilarious finish , she takes a good amount of work to use properly, her Distortion drives are tricky to use and to master (looking at you “All Green” lol), you’ll fool most of your opponents into a false sense of security, her DP game is sex, she’s a monster in the corner, Litchi is not just Litchi but Litchi and Mantenbou so treat her as thus, the possibilities with Mantenbou are endless, training mode is your friend so try her out and see if you like her play style then hit up this thread again
She has huge boobs, lets out a moan when she gets hit sometimes. Can Tao match that? I don’t think so.
Also, that stuff about how she’s a monster in the corner and all, um yeah that’s pretty good too.
Litchi likes her stick
if u use a stick on a square gate, u can hit towards, away, then grind the side from bottom to top corner.
oh yeay, look who I met today!
Thx Bro but,
LiftedResearch: you must admin there is something about catish girls…
ANYWAY, my only concerns with litchi is
-
she is not quite mobile, i mean she’s fast, but i’m used to chun (well a bit fast for SF4) and Jam (which is fast). but noel is boring and tao is repetitive a bit
-
i have kinda bad decisions in oki, so most of the time after combo i miss the opportunity to deal some more damage, and the situation is reset to neutral (which is a bit bad for litchi =)
and that about it, tao is all about running around and go crazy, litchi is more of the elegant play style (and flashier IMO) and winning with grace (lol).
decisions decisions
I’ve only just picked up Blazblue two days ago, so keep in mind, my observations come from a perspective of relative ignorance about the game, and I’d say in general, I’m fairly bad at it.
However, there is one thing I’ve noticed and don’t see mentioned anywhere. That is, there seems to be a pretty strong guessing game revolving around Litchi’s two styles (with and without the Mantenbou), which is much more in your favor if you’re holding it, rather than having it planted. With her DP, she can immediately go from a mid-range poking/counter hitting character to an in-your face pressure machine. By contrast, when the mantenbou is planted in the ground, it takes a few seconds to get back in hand, so your opponent has a better idea of what you’re going to be trying. That’s not to say that you’re crippled with it planted (far from it, obviously), but while you’re holding the staff, you carry the threat of both styles of play at all times, and you can use that threat to your advantage.
Na I disagree. Well I guess it really depends on your play style. I prefer to have the staff planted. When it is planted it much easier for me to move around the screen and get in. Her high low games are better as well. I like to use the stick throw move if im being locked down to get away and use the 4 winds to cover me when i wanna get in. When they’re blocking the 4 winds i do either overhead or low attack into dp. You have to be careful and time it so that your stick gets back to you. even if they block it they’re usually too far away to punish you. except ragna.
but play and get experience to get your own style. my friend can’t stand playing her without the stick.
