yeah, landing a big litchi combo is probably the most rewarding thing for me in this game, especially if it’s a riitchi combo. no one else can compare.
I personally just love Litchi’s corner rape. It’s too good.
^I couldn’t agree more, when I fight my friend who uses Tager it’s corner rape city all day
and it’s official 64128C “All Green” is sooooo gooood!!! I luv this move now cuz I get to punish so many unexpecting rushdown characters and I even put it in some combos of mine, it friggin rocks… man did I underestimate this move :lovin:
I fought a bunch of Litchi mirrors last night, I wonder if any of them were you, your name looks damn familiar. It was really strange last night though, I fought like, 7 different Litchi’s in a row.
As for Nu, I have no idea how that fight goes when they know what they are doing. They usually just whiff a sword along the ground then eat a combo, once you are on them, it seems they just freak out and have no idea how to get you off… Sorta like when I fight my friends Bang, the dude is in like 3 different places at once lol, I can never find an opening in his madness.
Yeah, I had an experience like that one time, a month or so ago. Up until that one night, I fought no Litchis, and then I hit five in the space of an hour, which was freaky at the time… o_O
I’ve fought bad Nus who just hit the panic button when you’re in and start the corner battering, but the one I fought the other night didn’t freak out one bit… =_= Either they were experienced with the matchup or just experienced and patient in general…
And yeah, All Green is nice… I use it mainly when they air dash towards me at the right distance. Counterhit wallbounce is cool. However, I should follow up on it more for extra damage… =.=
Still gots loads of learning to do… I especially want to start Riichi combos but don’t have a clue where or how to begin…
O-O~
The Riichi combo is gonna take while, hopefully I’ll learn it sooner or later… speaking of “vs Nu” you’ll have it pretty bad when you’re Litchi (obviously), from experience all I can say is you need to take every chance you got, when there’s a opening you take it… then proceed to rip Nu a new Armagus
Also, when it comes to Nu, use your pole.
It has godly reach, j.C, 5B, and 2B are nice at getting counter hits against Nu which can lead to rape combo’s which kill Nu due to her low health
^Yeah it’s all in a matter of planning and execution, but if it’s a scrubby Nu then just take your time wailing on em’ with whatever you please…
Some more Litchi vs Rachael goodness.

Shonen is such a god tier litchi. :china:
^Damn that guy is fast, I’ll add them to the OP
Why do people end combos with 2C? You can go into 3 dragons from there.
they don’t…they end it with 3C…3C is untechable(within the terms of this game), you have time to kote(421 or 623D without staff) then D into whatever you want…or just mix them up without staff and go into riichi combos…or 3C->shinshin (catches just about every option they have)…SOMETIMES you might want to go into 3 dragons just for damage and if they’re teching out as soon as possible you can go for some different mix-up, but the options are MUCH fewer than when you 3C
3C isn’t the end all be all however…you still have jBC 623D dj D falling C…sometimes just tsubame->KM is really nice just to throw them off…
you have SOOOO many options with litchi (especially in the corner)
for a list of WHY you should do certain combos checkout Lord Knight’s write-up at dustloop about “Ukemi and Mixups”.
http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showpost.php?p=365348&postcount=4
basically outlines why you want to end with a certain move and how to respond accordingly afterwards to what may happen.
3c -> shinshin/13 orphans is my ender of choice. Reminds me of 3s Urien aegis shenanigans.
yeah, but some can counter it (bang’s super, 720 etc)
Okay, so this is like… a really noob question, but how do you do a grounded backflip where you can airdash out of it?
^That news to me cuz never heard of that one
try 4 4 then airdash in a desired direction

Right at the start of the round.
Looks like 4, 4, then 6 6
it looks like a backstep short jump (the backstep is read as a jump so you can airdash afterwards if you have fast fingers) that’s a helluva exploit there
its her command backdash i believe 447.
you can airdash after
that was beastly litchi
