Hey 10stars, since you’re using X-23 and Tron, have you noticed something strange about WXP into Servbot Takeout? If you time it right you can actually get Servbot Takeout to do unscaled damage.

Yeah if you delay the tron dhc a tiny tiny bit it unscales, if you do it too early it wont, i don’t quite know why. The unscaled combo that i do does 1,251,000 if you get the dhc glitch correctly, and its like 1,157,000 if it doesnt unscale. Either way, useful for killing most of the cast.
And no I didn’t get any byes, but my first two matches were pretty unstreamworthy.

The craziest part is how on small characters it will even drop the combo and restart the counter even though the opponent doesn’t recover. Weirdness.

Just had a FT10 set with Vidness and got blown up by his dormammu. Can I get some tips on this matchup or in general? I do better in the next videos so don’t call me a scrub just for the first video

Is there a particular reason you’re using Molecular Shield assist? It seems like Plasma Beam would serve you much better, even if it’s harder to cross up with it. Something I learned while playing ETR is that X-23 does not need help with cross-ups necessarily, she’s great at them by herself.
Also, the stalking fireball hyper (and a lot of his other moves, really) is extremely punishable by Weapon X Prime, so you should definitely go for that if he feels like he can just chip your X-23 to death.
edit: I see you’re using Plasma Beam later and it’s working for you, just gotta hit-confirm those neck slices.
I use molecular shield to setup for the WX hyper in the corner, I went to switch to plasma beam because I wanted a full screen blockstun assist so I could try to get in better.Later I do try using the WX on his stalking flare, but he XFC’s to make it safe.
Yeah using molecular shield to give you an extra weapon x set up is not worth taking away the benefits of Doom beam. Doom beam gets you in way too well when used with M talon or charged neck slice.
Turns out processing 2 hours of 1080i video takes a long time on a crappy laptop so it’ll be ready for YouTube tomorrow - I’ll make sure to upload my matches with ETR before the end of the week (even if my win rate was horrible, I’m doing it for you guys lol). Look out for it!
I’ve realized that the Beam is way more helpful in the long run when using X-23 on point so I swapped out Wesker for a character with an assist to supplement Doom and X. I’m messing around with X-23-ankle/Ammy-Cold Star/Doom-Beam right now. I originally started off with ammy, so it feels right going back to her(him/it/whatever). I was only using wesker because I found that wesker/Doom DHC so I’m hoping this team will have better chemistry.
